Maeve Andersen [Maeve Lydia Andersen] participated in Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) activism in 2024 and 2025 in New York City, organized by the city’s DSA chapter (NYC-DSA).

NYC-DSA is an anti-American and anti-Israel activist group. It celebrated the Hamas terror attacks of October 7, 2023, by holding a rally the next day.

As of October 2025, Maeve Anderson's LinkedIn profile said Maeve Anderson had been the electoral research and data co-chair of the NYC-DSA since November 2024. Maeve Anderson canvassed for NYC-DSA member and mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani in June 2024.

As of the same date, Maeve Andersen's LinkedIn said Maeve Anderson was studying for a bachelor's degree in political science at Hunter College (Hunter), where Maeve Anderson is active with the Young Democratic Socialists of America (YDSA), and slated to graduate in June 2026.
