Lauren Nakamura participated in at least one anti-Israel event in June 2024, organized by the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) chapter in the city (NYC-DSA).
The profilee's activism occurred during Israel’s war against Hamas, which Israel launched after the October 7, 2023, terror attacks when Hamas murdered nearly 1,200 Israelis, injured thousands and kidnapped hundreds.
NYC-DSA is an anti-American and anti-Israel activist group. It celebrated the Hamas terror attacks of October 7, 2023, by holding a rally the next day.
As of October 2025, Lauren Nakamura’s LinkedIn profile said she was a prisoners’ rights project staff attorney for the Legal Aid Society since February 2024. Her LinkedIn also said she was located in Brooklyn, New York, New York.
