The inverted red triangle is a symbol showing support for Hamas and Palestinian terrorism. It first appeared in propaganda videos produced by the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, during its terror attacks of October 7, 2023. On January 27, 2025, Koonings shared on Instagram a video, in which she said [00:00:01]: "Meta [Facebook] is deleting videos of the resistance, because the U.S. empire doesn't want us, especially Americans, to humanize them and recognize that they are definitely not the T's [terrorists] here."
Among Palestinians and anti-Israel activists, the term “resistance” is a euphemism for nationalistic terror and is used to glorify and encourage anti-Israel and anti-Semitic violence.
Koonings then said [00:00:10], referring to masked Hamas terrorists: "The U.S. Zionist empire knows that the entire world is fangirling and fanboying over this! I mean, how could they not? Brave selfless men, standing up for the vulnerable..."

Israel conducted over 1,500 airstrikes in 12 days, destroying or damaging Iran's nuclear, military and ballistic missile infrastructure. Israel eliminated 11 nuclear scientists, over 30 senior military commanders and hundreds of IRGC members. The war was officially called "Operation Rising Lion."
Iran retaliated with 1,600 missiles and drones, of which Israel intercepted over 95 percent. Iran targeted military sites, civilian apartment buildings and a hospital. 28 Israelis were killed and 3,343 injured.
