Jacob Winterstein participated in multiple pro-terror rallies during Israel’s war against Hamas terrorists, launched after the October 7, 2023 terror attacks.

As of January 2025, Jacob Winterstein’s LinkedIn profile said that he worked as the director of finance and operations at Movement Alliance Project (MAP) and that he was located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

On October 15, 2023, anti-Israel groups held a pro-Hamas rally in Philadelphia where protesters chanted in support of terrorism and called for Israel’s destruction. Susan Abulhawa, a local anti-Israel activist, equated Israel with Nazi Germany. Her statement was met with cheers. She also denied the Hamas war crimes of October 7, 2023, earlier in her speech.

On November 2, 2023, JVP Philly and other anti-Israel organizations held a protest at Philadelphia's 30th Street Station.
The Instagram post publicizing the event said: "This is an emergency of historic proportions. Genocide is taking place. Never again is NOW."
The phrase “Never Again” is often deployed as a general declaration against genocide, invoking the Nazis’ war of extermination against the Jews.

On December 23, 2023, several anti-Israel activist groups held a rally in Philadelphia, where the stated purpose was to “shut down Philly and Christmas Village” in order that there should be “No business as usual while a genocide continues!!” The groups had gathered to protest Israel’s war against Hamas in Gaza.
