Hersch Rothmel
Hersch Rothmel [Hersch Chaim Rothmel] participated in an anti-Israel event in Cambridge, Massachusetts, in 2024, as an activist with the far-left Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL).
The profilee's activism occurred during Israel’s war against Hamas, which Israel launched after the October 7, 2023, terror attacks when Hamas murdered nearly 1,200 Israelis, injured thousands and kidnapped hundreds.
At the 2024 event, Hersch Rothmel held a bucket with a sign on it that indicated his support for the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement. The event was also in support of BDS.
As of June 2025, Hersch Rothmel was listed as having been an external organizer for Local 888 of the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), located in Braintree, Massachusetts, from 2016 through 2024.
As of January 2026, Hersch Rothmel's Facebook said he was located in Boston, Massachusetts.

Among Palestinians and anti-Israel activists, the term “resistance” is a euphemism for nationalistic terror and is used to glorify and encourage anti-Israel and antisemitic violence.
The event was in support of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement. The outcome of the movement's goals would result in Israel's destruction. Within hours of the October 7, 2023, terror attacks, the BDS movement renewed its call for an anti-Israel boycott.
