Fred Hampton Jr. [Alfred Johnson] spoke at a pro-Hamas encampment at the University of Pennsylvania (Penn) in April 2024 during Israel’s war against Hamas terrorists, launched after the October 7, 2023 terror attacks.

In 1993, Hampton was sentenced to 18 years in prison for arson that the judge called “an act of terrorism."
As of April 2024, Hampton served [00:00:34] as the international chair of the Black Panther Party Cubs.
The Black Panther Party (BPP) was a revolutionary Marxist political organization founded by Bobby Seale and Huey Newton in 1966. BPP advocated the use of violence and guerilla tactics to overthrow the U.S. government. BPP members were involved in many fatal firefights with police; in 1967, Newton allegedly killed police officer John Frey.
As of May 2025, Hampton's LinkedIn profile said he was also the chair of the Prisoners of Conscience Committee (POCC/BPPC).
