The profilee's activism occurred during Israel’s war against Hamas, which Israel launched after the October 7, 2023, terror attacks when Hamas murdered nearly 1,200 Israelis, injured thousands and kidnapped hundreds.
Zack Del Rosso also participated in at least one Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) event organized by the city's chapter (NYC-DSA) in 2023.
NYC-DSA is an anti-American and anti-Israel activist group. It celebrated the Hamas terror attacks of October 7, 2023, by holding a rally the next day.
As of September 2025, Del Rosso's X and Instagram bio said he was a "Sociology PhD student" at The City University of New York Graduate Center (CUNY GC). His X bio said he was located in Queens, New York.
