Daniel Kimball
Daniel Kimball was reportedly arrested at a sit-in during the anti-Israel encampment at Illinois State University (ISU) in May 2024.
The Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) chapter at ISU (SJP-ISU) said on Instagram that it organized the encampment, which was in support of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.
On May 3, 2024, WGLT.org reported that seven individuals, including Daniel Kimball, were arrested and charged with trespassing, and later “suspended and restricted from participating in university activities.”
Daniel Kimball and the other activists had gathered outside the office of ISU’s president during the ISU encampment and refused to leave despite being given “multiple warnings about the ‘consequences for remaining’ past closing time.”
The encampment was part of a national movement on college campuses in 2024, during Israel’s war against Hamas. The encampments were also in support of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.
As of December 2025, Daniel Kimball was active with Theatre of Ted, "an open-mic at Illinois State University! Ever [sic] Saturday." As of the same date, Daniel Kimball's Facebook bio said he was located in Normal, Illinois, which is where ISU is located.
