Angela Sherpa participated in at least one anti-Israel event in New York City in November 2023. The Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) chapter in the city (NYC-DSA) organized the event, which was a group bus to an anti-Israel march in Washington, D.C.

The profilee's activism occurred during Israel’s war against Hamas, which Israel launched after the October 7, 2023, terror attacks when Hamas murdered nearly 1,200 Israelis, injured thousands and kidnapped hundreds.

NYC-DSA is an anti-American and anti-Israel activist group. It celebrated the Hamas terror attacks of October 7, 2023, by holding a rally the next day.

As of October 2025, Angela Sherpa's LinkedIn profile said she had worked as a deputy district director at the United States House of Representatives since June 2022, reportedly working for U.S. Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Angela Sherpa's LinkedIn said she was located in the New York City metropolitan area.
