Andy Spring participated in an anti-Israel event at Stanford University (Stanford) in 2024. At the event, Spring held a sign in support of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement that said: "DISCLOSE / DIVEST/ AMNESTY NOW."
The profilee's activism occurred during Israel’s war against Hamas, which Israel launched after the October 7, 2023, terror attacks when Hamas murdered nearly 1,200 Israelis, injured thousands and kidnapped hundreds.
As of July 2025, Andy Spring's LinkedIn said Spring had worked as a "Long Term Substitute Teacher" at TeachStart in Richmond, California, since January 2025.
In November 2023, Andy Spring, going by the name Amelia Berot Spring, was listed on a Stanford website as a member of Stanford's undergraduate class of 2024, majoring in psychology.
