Anas Shuaib [Anas R. Shuaib] has spread anti-Semitism, promoted incitement, shared neo-Nazi propaganda and expressed support for Hamas and Hezbollah.Shuaib has also spread anti-Semitic conspiracy theories, accused Jews of mass murder, claimed that American Jews have dual loyalties and spread hatred of Israeli Jews.

In 2021, Shuaib was an activist with Within Our Lifetime (WOL), an anti-Israel activist group in New York City, New York.
Shuaib is a supporter of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.
As of March 2022, Shuaib’s Instagram page bio said he was the host of the Clash and Mash podcast on YouTube.
As of June 2023, Shuaib’s Facebook page said he had “Studied at Queens College” and was from “New York, New York.” In May 2021, Shuaib said [01:18:45] during a Clash and Mash episode that he was studying at Queens College.
Shuaib said [00:06:16]: “Just like … we won in Khaybar, we will beat the crap out of them, Inshallah [God willing]!”
On June 7, 2020, Shuaib shared to Facebook a meme with a fake anti-Semitic quote and a photo of a naked black man embracing a naked white woman. The meme alleged that “JEWS promoted race-mixing” and it concluded: “So do you still believe the JEWS that ‘White Genocide’ is a conspiracy created by White Supremacists Nazis??”
The assertion that there is a “White Genocide” is a conspiracy theory propagated by white supremacists, who often claim that the Jews are responsible for this genocide.
On May 30, 2019, Shuaib shared to Facebook a video from anti-Semitic Syrian propaganda series Al-Shatat. The video depicted Jews murdering “a Congregation Member Who Married a Non-Jewish Woman after Trying Him in a ‘Talmudic Court.’”
The Talmud is a fundamental text of Rabbinic Judaism and a primary source of Jewish religious law and Jewish theology.
The video showed a man tied up while hot lead was poured in his mouth, his ear was chopped off and his throat was slit.
On April 19, 2019, Shuaib shared an article on Facebook published by the neo-Nazi website Renegade Tribune, titled: “International Red Cross Report Confirms the Holocaust of Six Million Jews is a Hoax.”
The article also alleged: “RED CROSS EXPOSES ‘JEWISH’ HOLOCAUST HOAX: INTERNATIONAL RED CROSS (IRC) DOCUMENT CONFIRMS 271 THOUSAND NOT 6 MILLION DIED IN CONCENTRATION CAMPS.” The article also suggested that no Jews were killed in gas chambers at Nazi concentration camps.
“Holocaust revisionism” is a form of anti-Semitism where proponents deny or minimize key aspects of the Holocaust.
On April 2, 2019, Shuaib wrote on Facebook: “These Shape Shifty Jews are making fun of our Messiah let's see if they well laugh when he kills them all and we take em as slaves [sic]”
Shuaib’s post included a YouTube video of an Israeli comedy show’s anti-Christian skit that was condemned by Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert.
On March 19, 2019, Shuaib wrote on Facebook about an Israeli mentalist, stating: “Zio Satianic mind control pray to PROTECT ur selfs [sic]”
On February 11, 2019, Shuaib shared to Facebook an article titled: “A History of Jewish Money-Hoarding and Power-Grabbing.”
The article Shuaib shared was on Russia Insider, a site that features neo-Nazis like Andrew Anglin. The article originated on the anti-Semitic Occidental Observer website.
On October 12, 2018, Shuaib wrote on Facebook: “The Zionist Economic System is Falling Paper Money is going down the drain Isreal is getting ready to take over the World This what paper money the biggest Scam is about. WE MUST GO BACK TO DINAR AND DIRHAM GOLD AND SILVER [sic]”
On July 1, 2018, Shuaib wrote on Facebook: “America is the Prostitute and Servant of isreal America sold its self to Zionists [sic]”
Shuaib’s post linked to a since-deleted video titled: “Israel Has Used America as a Whore.”
On July 6, 2017, Shuaib shared to Facebook a video of anti-Israel agitator Ken O’Keefe telling “The Truth About Adolf #Hitler..!!” In the video, O’Keefe praised [00:00:01] Hitler for fighting the “Jewish bankers” who “almost totally controlled” the German economy.
O’Keefe said [00:00:43]: “The major crime of Adolf Hitler, was that he got out, he got Germany out of a banking debt that was drowning the German people.… And he had the nerve to actually say f**k off to the bankers…”
In the video, Shuaib yelled [00:01:13]: “If you touch Al-Aqsa we will wreak havoc! رح نفتح ابواب جهنم يا ابن حيوان [you will open the gate of hell, son of a b**ch] ...”
Shuaib continued [00:01:20]: “You want to take Al-Aqsa?! Al-Aqsa?! We’ll do World War Three so we can liberate it from you! If you want peace, leave Al Aqsa alone! Leave Al-Aqsa alone! Leave Gaza alone! Leave the West Bank alone! Leave the Palestinians alone! Leave the Middle East alone!”
In the same video, Shuaib added [00:01:35]: “Because, if you don’t leave it alone تفتح ابواب جهنم [you will open the gate of hell] and Palestine will be liberated just like Saladin liberated it from the Crusaders!”
During the same protest, anti-Israel agitators chased [00:00:07] after police and a counter-protester, who was then hit [00:00:21] in the head with a chair. When police noticed [00:00:47] blood had begun pouring [00:01:21] from his head, they ran him to a nearby building to safety.
On May 24, 2021, Shuaib featured in additional video footage shared on Twitter that was taken at the same May 11, 2021 WOL rally.
Shuaib said [00:00:04]: “I will die for Al-Aqsa, I will kill for Al-Aqsa! Anybody who touches Al-Aqsa, I will break them apart!”
Shuaib went on to say [00:00:39]: “If Israel is going to take our land, there is going to be a bloodbath!”
Shuaib added [00:01:15]: “At this time I am going to have to take Hamas’s side, because Hamas, they retaliated against Israel’s aggression at Al-Aqsa.”
On May 30, 2021, Shuaib said [00:11:52] during an episode of his podcast: “I will defend Al-Aqsa to the death! Because when these people come to Al-Aqsa they shoot people! They attack it! And if one brick of Al-Aqsa is disconnected, it’s worth doing World War Three for Al-Aqsa!”
In the same video, Shuaib added [00:12:02]: “This is our holy site! Our holy site! It’s like defending your house! If you don’t defend your house, you’re a p**sy! And I’m not a p**sy, Palestinians are not p**sies! And I say it right now on camera and on this microphone, I’m willing to say this on camera. I am willing to die for Al-Aqsa!”
Renegade is a Neo-Nazi media platform founded by Kyle Hunt and includes the podcast website Renegade Broadcasting and the news website Renegade Tribune.
On October 27, 2018, Shuaib shared a Renegade Tribune article to Facebook that defended Hitler and the National Socialists, titled: “They Tried to Stop the New World Order.”
On February 6, 2019, Shuaib shared an article written by Neo-Nazi and white supremacist Andrew Anglin, titled: “Are Russians Genetically Evil? The New York Times Thinks So.” The article criticized an opinion piece published in the New York Times by a German security consultant, critical of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The Andrew Anglin article that Shuaib shared was originally sourced from the Daily Stormer, where Anglin was the editor and founder.
Shuaib commented on the New York Times piece, saying: “They are evil those Zio pigs who wrote the story.”
On January 2, 2019, Shuaib shared to Facebook a meme derived from a 1937 book written by Julius Streicher, the publisher of the Nazi publication Der Sturmer.
The meme showed an elderly Jewish man teaching his young student. The caption said: “What is the Talmud?: ‘In the Talmud it is written: ‘Only the Jew is human. Gentile peoples are not called humans, but animals.’ Since we Jews see Gentiles as animals, we call them only Goy.’”
“Goy” means “nation” in Hebrew and is used to refer to Gentiles.
On March 1, 2019, Shuaib shared to Facebook a June 2017 article published by Renegade Tribune, titled: “Lord Rothschild Explains How His Family Embraced Zionism, Created Israel.”
Hezbollah has long been known as an anti-Semitic and genocidal terror organization dedicated to destroying Israel.
On May 22, 2021, Shuaib shared to Facebooka video by the Hamas-affiliated channel Quds News Network that showcased a “summary of the achievements of the #Palestinian resistance in #Gaza during” Israel’s OGW in Gaza.
The video celebrated [00:00:28] that more than 4,000 rockets had hit Israel, including[00:00:45] the targeting of the Ramon Airport in the southern Israeli city of Eilat.
The video went on to celebrate [00:01:05] the death of 12 Israelis and the injuring of hundreds more by Hamas rocket attacks during OGW. The video concluded [00:01:39] with a message from “Abu Ubaida,” who said: “We fought so hard on behalf of our nation.”
Abu Obaida is the spokesman of the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas.
Shuaib added [00:03:08]: “Now people are gonna say ‘Oh my God! He said the Jews control everything! The Jews! The Jews! Anti-Semitism! Anti-Semitism!’”
The assertion that Jews control the media has been traced to the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, an anti-Semitic fabricated text that depicts wealthy Jews conspiring to take over the world.
Later in the same podcast, Shuaib discussed [00:36:37] Palestinian-American musician DJ Khaled, saying: “They won’t allow him [to write a Palestine song] because of the Zionist lobby, habibi [my dear]! I’m telling you, now people are gonna take this out of context. Hollywood and all this music industry, the Zionists are on the top. They influence that a lot.”
Shuaib then said [00:36:53]: “What do I mean by ‘influence?’ I don’t mean they are the CEO’s or they call the shots. They lobby through money.”
Shuaib added [00:36:58]: “And that’s why Congress, they always support Israel. Because Israel always puts money in their pockets.”
Shuaib later said [00:46:25]: “The Israelis didn’t gain influence by whatchamacallit, by one day, or one night, they worked on it, through lobbying, through connections. We need to do the same thing. We need to play dirty like them! They lobby, ok?! You know what, they put money in Congress!”
Shuaib continued [00:46:39]: “If they play dirty, let's play dirty! Lets bribe some pol… I mean lobby some politicians. The polite word is ‘lobby,’ but really they are bribing.”
Shuaib later said [00:51:45]: “You know what CNN said? They called the Foreign Minister [of Pakistan] anti-Semitic for saying Israel controls the media. How?! Prove it wrong! They called the foreign Minister of Pakistan [Moeenuddin Ahmad] Qureshi, they called him anti-Semitic for pointing out the truth.”
On February 2, 2020, Shuaib shared an article to Facebook that was titled: “Historians Confirm Karl Marx Was Employed By The Rothschilds.” The article’s source was a link to the anti-Semitic conspiracy theory site henrymakow.com.
The article that Shuaib shared alleged that Karl Marx was related to and “employed” by the international banking family, the Rothschilds, as “their agent in order to subvert democracy and corrupt the Socialist movement.”
Conspiracy theories regarding the Rothschild family date back to the 18th century. Anti-Semites frequently cite the family’s wealth to support the claim that “Jews control the world’s money supply.”
On May 30, 2019, Shuaib shared a video on Facebook of a clip from the 2005 Syrian propaganda series Al-Shatat, which was based on the Protocols of the Elders of Zion.
The Protocols of the Elders of Zion is an anti-Semitic fabricated text that depicts wealthy Jews conspiring to take over the world.
The clip depictedmembers of a “Global Jewish Government” discussing how to assist Hitler in annihilating the Jews in order to “drive the Jews” from Europe and get them to immigrate to Palestine.
The caption continued: “JEWISH BOLSHEVIK COMMUNISTS INVADED RUSSIA IN 1917 AND MASS MURDERED RUSSIAN CHRISTIANS IN A JEWISH COMMUNIST TAKEOVER. EVENTUALLY, MORE THAT [sic] 60 MILLION PEOPLE WERE SLAUGHTERED. TODAY, THE JEWISH MEDIA CONTINUES TO HIDE THE FACT THAT THE COMMUNISTS WERE JEWS!”
On April 25, 2020, Shuaib shared a post on Facebook with a link to a Russia-Insider articletitled: “The REAL Holocaust: The 1915 Armenian Genocide and its Russophobic Origins.” The article suggested that Jews played a part in the Armenian Genocide.
The post that Shuaib shared said: “105 years ago.. ‘As a result of the Jewish lobby's recommendations, the Young Turks government removed Armenians from Anatolia in 1915. Hence, the economy of the country was left in the hands of Jewish capital.’”
The concept of “dual loyalty” is an anti-Semitic accusation that alleges Jews are more loyal to Israel than to their own nations.
Also on February 2, 2020, Shuaib shared to Facebook a video clip from a television interview of Pastor Rick Wiles, who is known for spreading anti-Semitism. In the clip, Wiles discussed then-U.S. President Donald Trump and his Jewish son-in-law Jared Kushner.
In the video that Shuaib shared, Wiles said [00:00:01]: “Mr Trump is not going to pursue Israeli spies in America. If he did, he wouldn’t have to go further than arresting his son-in-law Jared Kushner.”
On February 19, 2019, Shuaib shared a meme on Facebook showing all nine U.S. Supreme Court justices. Five of them were depicted with an Israeli flag over their chests. The image said: “2% OF THE POPULATION. JUST SAYING.” One of the justices with an Israel flag was Justice Sonia Sotomayor, the court’s first Latina.
Justice Clarence Thomas was labeled the “Token Black Guy,” while the other three were labeled as “Jesuit.”

The post featured a meme with quotes alleged to have been said by Israeli and Jewish leaders, including a fabricated quote attributed to former Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin, that read: “Our race is the master. We are the divine Gods on this planet. We are as different from the inferior races as they are from insects.”
On July 6, 2020, Shuaib wrote on Facebook: “Just like the Crusaders used Christianity as a vechile to occupy and rule Palestine today The so called Eroupian Jew is using Judaism to occupy Palestine I called this the Zionist Crusades [sic]”
The photo’s caption read: “I want to tell you something very clear. Don’t worry about American pressure on Israel. We, the Jewish people, control America. And the Americans know it.” The original poster of the meme wrote: “Israel control America and America control world…”
On July 25, 2018, Shuaib shared to Facebooka meme that depicted Israel as a puppet master controlling the United States and the country’s major institutions. The caption on the meme read: “AMERICA IS ISRAEL’S MOST PROFITABLE PUPPET.”
The post that Shuaib shared also said: “Only puppets approved of by the Zionists are allowed to be President of the U.S. … candidates live in fear of the Zionist-controlled mainstream media because the Zionists can destroy any candidacy through their control of the media. …And, the American public is brainwashed by the Zionist-controlled U.S. mainstream media into fighting Israel's wars….The Israel Lobby is a Threat to world peace and must be exposed and Defeated.”
On September 6, 2021, six Palestinian prisoners escaped from the maximum-security Gilboa Prison in Israel. The escaped prisoners were convicted members of the terror organizations Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) and the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade, who were jailed for their involvement in attacks carried out during the second intifada. All were recaptured by September 19, 2021, by Israeli authorities.
On August 16, 2021, Shuaib defended [01:05:55] the use of suicide bombings in a YouTube interview conducted at a WOL rally, saying: “So people ask: ‘Why do Palestinians blow themselves up?! Why do Palestinians kill Israelis?!’ Because you are stealing my land!”
The second intifada (2000-2005) was characterized by more than 120 suicide bombings targeting Israeli civilians on buses and in cafes.
On May 6, 2021, Shuaib shared an image on Facebook of Qasem Soleimani holding an assault rifle.
The original poster of the image wrote: “اگر شھداء نہ ھوتے تو آپ سب اسطرح آرام سے نہ بیٹھتےنہ سو سکتے تھے
[If there were no martyrs then you wouldn’t be able to sleep peacefully].”
Qasem Soleimani was the commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Quds Force, a branch of the Iranian military that carries out secret foreign operations. He was reportedly the second most powerful person in Iran. The United States designated Soleimani as a terrorist in 2011. In January 2020, the U.S. killed Soleimani in a targeted drone strike.
Shuaib commented on the video, writing: “100% right.”
On October 13, 2018, Shuaib shared to Facebooka post that said: “Hitler was a Zionist himself.....”
The post featured a meme showing one photo of Hitler, captioned: “WE ARE THE MASTER RACE.” Below that photo was one of former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, captioned: “WE ARE GOD’S CHOSEN PEOPLE.” The meme’s caption said: “WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE?”
The International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) highlights as one possible contemporary example of anti-Semitism: “Denying the Jewish people their right to self-determination, e.g., by claiming that the existence of a State of Israel is a racist endeavor.” The U.S. State Department adopted the IHRA’s working definition of anti-Semitism in 2016. Over 40 other countries have adopted the definition as well.
On August 19, 2018, Shuaib shared to Facebook a since-deleted YouTube video titled: “Hitler founded Israel - 1933 The Transfer Agreement zionists & nazis (aka The Haavara Agreement).”
The 1933 Haavara agreement between Zionist leaders and Nazi Germany permitted German Jews to escape Europe to Palestine. The agreement is often cited by anti-Semites to frame Zionists as Nazi collaborators.
The title of the article overlaid a photo showing rows of corpses. The corpses were those of dead Jews, filling the courtyard of Nazi Germany’s Nordhausen concentration camp in 1945. The article suggested that the image showed Palestinian Arabs killed at Deir Yassin during the 1948 Arab-Israeli war.
On July 6, 2020, Shuaib shared to Facebooka post suggesting that Israeli students were responsible for the 9/11 terror attacks in 2001 on the Twin Towers in New York.
On May 30, 2021, during an episode of his podcast, Shuaib said [01:00:41] that when he was in school he wanted to “do a project about the genocide in Palestine…” He continued [01:00:45] by saying that his teachers told him “what happened in Palestine is not the same as the Holocaust. What happened to your people is more simple.”
Shuaib then said [01:00:53]: “I looked at this b**ch! I say b**ch! Are you saying a Jewish life is more expensive than a Palestinian life? … So how many Palestinians have to die?!”
Shuaib then suggested [01:01:05] that nearly as many Palestinians have died since 1948 as did during the Holocaust, despite the total being about 1% of that.
Shuaib said [01:01:05]: “Do you know how many Palestinians died from 1948 until today? 5,100,000. It’s almost the 6,000,000 mark. But these teachers, they have no regard because of their masari [money], of their money, because they care about their check. That’s it.”
In the same May 30, 2021, episode of his podcast, Shuaib said [00:22:59] in reference to Israel’s OGW against Hamas: “Go fight them face to face! Why you only bombing from the air? Because you want to punish the people. Because you say ‘we can’t get to Hamas, Hamas they are kicking our a**, ok so if we can’t get to Hamas, we’ll kill civilians.’”
On May 30, 2021, during the same podcast, Shuaib compared [00:06:00] Israel to the Crusaders of the Latin Church in the 12th century. He addressed Netanyahu and American conservative Jewish political commentator Ben Shapiro.
Shuaib said [00:06:00]: “We have to give the Israelis a history lesson because they forgot who Saladin is. Let me tell you who Saladin is. Ya, Benjamin Netanyahu! Ya, Ben Shapiro! You pieces of s**t! Let me tell you who Saladin is.”
Shuaib continued [00:06:14] by speaking about Saladin’s conquest of Jerusalem in 1187 from the Crusaders. Shuaib then said [00:06:41]: “Saladin came and he liberated Falasteen [Palestine]! And Falasteen will be liberated, mark my words! I bet everything I have, my dignity, my religion, everything I have!”
Nerdeen Kiswani is a co-founder and chairperson of WOL, which was known as NYC SJP until February 2018. Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) is a campus anti-Israel activist group. In her WOL activism, Kiswani has supported [01:02:43] violence against Zionists and called [00:08:43] for Israel’s destruction.
On July 7 2021, Shuaib hosted leading WOL activist Saadah Masoud on the Clash and Mash podcast, where Masoud expressed [00:52:04] violent hatred of Zionists. Masoud has violently attacked[00:00:07] Israel supporters and burned Israeli flags.
On July 31, 2021, Shuaib posted a video of Kiswani speaking at a WOL rally that day. Shuaib wrote: “They will not be forgotten free Palestine free Aqsa free Al Quds free the UMMAH [Muslim nation] FROM ZIONIST WESTERN OPPRESSION.” As Kiswani spoke, people held signs that said: “HONOR THE MARTYRS OF PALESTINE.”
The rally was organized as one of several actions by WOL as part of their Globalize Intifada campaign.
“Globalize the Intifada” is an anti-Israel campaign launched by Within Our Lifetime (WOL) in the summer of 2021, intended as an “ongoing strike at the heart of empire [sic] with Palestine as its compass.” The movement seeks to “break free from the genocidal grip of U.S. imperialism and Zionism” and advocates “liberation by any means necessary.”
During the same July 2021 protest, Husam Kaid, another WOL activist, sparked [01:02:29] some fireworks. The article Shuaib shared was on Russia Insider, a site that features neo-Nazis like Andrew Anglin. The article originated on the anti-Semitic Occidental Observer website.
On October 12, 2018, Shuaib wrote on Facebook: “The Zionist Economic System is Falling Paper Money is going down the drain Isreal is getting ready to take over the World This what paper money the biggest Scam is about. WE MUST GO BACK TO DINAR AND DIRHAM GOLD AND SILVER [sic]”
On July 1, 2018, Shuaib wrote on Facebook: “America is the Prostitute and Servant of isreal America sold its self to Zionists [sic]”
Shuaib’s post linked to a since-deleted video titled: “Israel Has Used America as a Whore.”
On July 6, 2017, Shuaib shared to Facebook a video of anti-Israel agitator Ken O’Keefe telling “The Truth About Adolf #Hitler..!!” In the video, O’Keefe praised [00:00:01] Hitler for fighting the “Jewish bankers” who “almost totally controlled” the German economy.
O’Keefe said [00:00:43]: “The major crime of Adolf Hitler, was that he got out, he got Germany out of a banking debt that was drowning the German people.… And he had the nerve to actually say f**k off to the bankers…”
Promoting Incitement
On May 12, 2021, Shuaib featured [00:01:13] in a YouTube video from a May 11, 2021 WOL rally outside the Israeli consulate in New York City. Violent clashes broke out at the rally, which took place while there was ongoing violence in Jerusalem over the Al-Aqsa Mosque.In the video, Shuaib yelled [00:01:13]: “If you touch Al-Aqsa we will wreak havoc! رح نفتح ابواب جهنم يا ابن حيوان [you will open the gate of hell, son of a b**ch] ...”
Shuaib continued [00:01:20]: “You want to take Al-Aqsa?! Al-Aqsa?! We’ll do World War Three so we can liberate it from you! If you want peace, leave Al Aqsa alone! Leave Al-Aqsa alone! Leave Gaza alone! Leave the West Bank alone! Leave the Palestinians alone! Leave the Middle East alone!”
In May 2021, violent clashes broke out between Palestinian worshippers and Israeli police at the Al-Aqsa compound following claims the Al-Aqsa Mosque was in danger. The subsequent incitement was a leading factor in Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) terrorists firing over 4,300 rockets from Gaza into Israel later that month. Israel responded by launching “Operation Guardian of the Walls (OGW),” carrying out targeted military strikes in Gaza. Allegations of Jews “threatening” to destroy the Al-Aqsa Mosque have been a traditional pretext for Arab attacks on Jews predating the State of Israel.
In the same video, Shuaib added [00:01:35]: “Because, if you don’t leave it alone تفتح ابواب جهنم [you will open the gate of hell] and Palestine will be liberated just like Saladin liberated it from the Crusaders!”
During the same protest, anti-Israel agitators chased [00:00:07] after police and a counter-protester, who was then hit [00:00:21] in the head with a chair. When police noticed [00:00:47] blood had begun pouring [00:01:21] from his head, they ran him to a nearby building to safety.
On May 24, 2021, Shuaib featured in additional video footage shared on Twitter that was taken at the same May 11, 2021 WOL rally.
Shuaib said [00:00:04]: “I will die for Al-Aqsa, I will kill for Al-Aqsa! Anybody who touches Al-Aqsa, I will break them apart!”
Shuaib went on to say [00:00:39]: “If Israel is going to take our land, there is going to be a bloodbath!”
Shuaib added [00:01:15]: “At this time I am going to have to take Hamas’s side, because Hamas, they retaliated against Israel’s aggression at Al-Aqsa.”
On May 30, 2021, Shuaib said [00:11:52] during an episode of his podcast: “I will defend Al-Aqsa to the death! Because when these people come to Al-Aqsa they shoot people! They attack it! And if one brick of Al-Aqsa is disconnected, it’s worth doing World War Three for Al-Aqsa!”
Palestinians and anti-Israel activists have historically described visits by Jews to the Temple Mount in Jerusalem as “incursions” during which Jews purportedly “storm” the Temple Mount and Al-Aqsa Mosque. Palestinians have also frequently used the mosque to stockpile stone slabs, fireworks and rocks, with which they attack Israeli security officers and non-Muslim visitors to the Temple Mount.
In the same video, Shuaib added [00:12:02]: “This is our holy site! Our holy site! It’s like defending your house! If you don’t defend your house, you’re a p**sy! And I’m not a p**sy, Palestinians are not p**sies! And I say it right now on camera and on this microphone, I’m willing to say this on camera. I am willing to die for Al-Aqsa!”
Spreading Neo-Nazi Propaganda
On May 20, 2018, Shuaib shared an article on Facebook from the neo-Nazi news website Renegade Tribune, titled: “Jewish Supremacist Boasts on Israeli TV – AIPAC [American Israel Public Affairs Committee] Rules America.”Renegade is a Neo-Nazi media platform founded by Kyle Hunt and includes the podcast website Renegade Broadcasting and the news website Renegade Tribune.
On October 27, 2018, Shuaib shared a Renegade Tribune article to Facebook that defended Hitler and the National Socialists, titled: “They Tried to Stop the New World Order.”
On February 6, 2019, Shuaib shared an article written by Neo-Nazi and white supremacist Andrew Anglin, titled: “Are Russians Genetically Evil? The New York Times Thinks So.” The article criticized an opinion piece published in the New York Times by a German security consultant, critical of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The Andrew Anglin article that Shuaib shared was originally sourced from the Daily Stormer, where Anglin was the editor and founder.
Shuaib commented on the New York Times piece, saying: “They are evil those Zio pigs who wrote the story.”
On January 2, 2019, Shuaib shared to Facebook a meme derived from a 1937 book written by Julius Streicher, the publisher of the Nazi publication Der Sturmer.
The meme showed an elderly Jewish man teaching his young student. The caption said: “What is the Talmud?: ‘In the Talmud it is written: ‘Only the Jew is human. Gentile peoples are not called humans, but animals.’ Since we Jews see Gentiles as animals, we call them only Goy.’”
“Goy” means “nation” in Hebrew and is used to refer to Gentiles.
On March 1, 2019, Shuaib shared to Facebook a June 2017 article published by Renegade Tribune, titled: “Lord Rothschild Explains How His Family Embraced Zionism, Created Israel.”
Supporting Hamas and Hezbollah
On May 30, 2021, Shuaib addressed [00:06:51] Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on his podcast, saying: “Wallahi [By God]! Listen Netanyahu! Wallahi! Falasteen [Palestine] will be liberated, just like south Lebanon was liberated when Hezbollah kicked your a** in Lebanon! Just like Hamas kicked your a** in Gaza!”Hezbollah has long been known as an anti-Semitic and genocidal terror organization dedicated to destroying Israel.
Hamas has been designated as a terrorist organization by the U.S., Canada, European Union, Israel and other countries. Founded in 1987, it has killed thousands of Israeli civilians through mass shootings and suicide bombings. Hamas has also kidnapped children, families and the elderly and held them hostage in Gaza. It has desecrated [slide 2] dead bodies and launched numerous rocket attacks against Israeli civilians.
On May 22, 2021, Shuaib shared to Facebooka video by the Hamas-affiliated channel Quds News Network that showcased a “summary of the achievements of the #Palestinian resistance in #Gaza during” Israel’s OGW in Gaza.
The video celebrated [00:00:28] that more than 4,000 rockets had hit Israel, including[00:00:45] the targeting of the Ramon Airport in the southern Israeli city of Eilat.
The video went on to celebrate [00:01:05] the death of 12 Israelis and the injuring of hundreds more by Hamas rocket attacks during OGW. The video concluded [00:01:39] with a message from “Abu Ubaida,” who said: “We fought so hard on behalf of our nation.”
Abu Obaida is the spokesman of the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas.
Anti-Semitic Conspiracy Theories
On May 30, 2021, Shuaib said [00:02:50] during a Clash and Mash episode with YouTube personality Adam Saleh: “We need more Arab and Muslim filmmakers, lawyers, people in the NYPD [New York Police Department]. Because how are these Israelis getting away with this s**t? Because they’ve got people in the NYPD. They’ve got people in the media. They have this country. America’s under occupation like Palestine is under occupation!”Shuaib added [00:03:08]: “Now people are gonna say ‘Oh my God! He said the Jews control everything! The Jews! The Jews! Anti-Semitism! Anti-Semitism!’”
The assertion that Jews control the media has been traced to the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, an anti-Semitic fabricated text that depicts wealthy Jews conspiring to take over the world.
Later in the same podcast, Shuaib discussed [00:36:37] Palestinian-American musician DJ Khaled, saying: “They won’t allow him [to write a Palestine song] because of the Zionist lobby, habibi [my dear]! I’m telling you, now people are gonna take this out of context. Hollywood and all this music industry, the Zionists are on the top. They influence that a lot.”
Shuaib then said [00:36:53]: “What do I mean by ‘influence?’ I don’t mean they are the CEO’s or they call the shots. They lobby through money.”
Shuaib added [00:36:58]: “And that’s why Congress, they always support Israel. Because Israel always puts money in their pockets.”
Shuaib later said [00:46:25]: “The Israelis didn’t gain influence by whatchamacallit, by one day, or one night, they worked on it, through lobbying, through connections. We need to do the same thing. We need to play dirty like them! They lobby, ok?! You know what, they put money in Congress!”
Shuaib continued [00:46:39]: “If they play dirty, let's play dirty! Lets bribe some pol… I mean lobby some politicians. The polite word is ‘lobby,’ but really they are bribing.”
Shuaib later said [00:51:45]: “You know what CNN said? They called the Foreign Minister [of Pakistan] anti-Semitic for saying Israel controls the media. How?! Prove it wrong! They called the foreign Minister of Pakistan [Moeenuddin Ahmad] Qureshi, they called him anti-Semitic for pointing out the truth.”
On February 2, 2020, Shuaib shared an article to Facebook that was titled: “Historians Confirm Karl Marx Was Employed By The Rothschilds.” The article’s source was a link to the anti-Semitic conspiracy theory site henrymakow.com.
The article that Shuaib shared alleged that Karl Marx was related to and “employed” by the international banking family, the Rothschilds, as “their agent in order to subvert democracy and corrupt the Socialist movement.”
Conspiracy theories regarding the Rothschild family date back to the 18th century. Anti-Semites frequently cite the family’s wealth to support the claim that “Jews control the world’s money supply.”
On May 30, 2019, Shuaib shared a video on Facebook of a clip from the 2005 Syrian propaganda series Al-Shatat, which was based on the Protocols of the Elders of Zion.
The Protocols of the Elders of Zion is an anti-Semitic fabricated text that depicts wealthy Jews conspiring to take over the world.
The clip depictedmembers of a “Global Jewish Government” discussing how to assist Hitler in annihilating the Jews in order to “drive the Jews” from Europe and get them to immigrate to Palestine.
Accusing Jews of Commiting Mass Murder
On April 8, 2018, Shuaib shared a meme on Facebook with a caption that read: “DID YOU KNOW THAT RUSSIAN COMMUNISM WASN’T RUSSIAN AT ALL? IT WAS JEWISH!”The caption continued: “JEWISH BOLSHEVIK COMMUNISTS INVADED RUSSIA IN 1917 AND MASS MURDERED RUSSIAN CHRISTIANS IN A JEWISH COMMUNIST TAKEOVER. EVENTUALLY, MORE THAT [sic] 60 MILLION PEOPLE WERE SLAUGHTERED. TODAY, THE JEWISH MEDIA CONTINUES TO HIDE THE FACT THAT THE COMMUNISTS WERE JEWS!”
On April 25, 2020, Shuaib shared a post on Facebook with a link to a Russia-Insider articletitled: “The REAL Holocaust: The 1915 Armenian Genocide and its Russophobic Origins.” The article suggested that Jews played a part in the Armenian Genocide.
The post that Shuaib shared said: “105 years ago.. ‘As a result of the Jewish lobby's recommendations, the Young Turks government removed Armenians from Anatolia in 1915. Hence, the economy of the country was left in the hands of Jewish capital.’”
Claiming American Jews Have Dual Loyalty
On February 2, 2020, Shuaib shared to Facebook an article titled: “Senators and Congressmen Who Hold Dual Citizenship with Israel.” The article featured a graphic, listing 27 Jewish U.S. Congressmen and 13 Jewish U.S. Senators who were alleged to have “Dual-Citizenship,” as well as “Dual-Loyalty” to Israel.The concept of “dual loyalty” is an anti-Semitic accusation that alleges Jews are more loyal to Israel than to their own nations.
Also on February 2, 2020, Shuaib shared to Facebook a video clip from a television interview of Pastor Rick Wiles, who is known for spreading anti-Semitism. In the clip, Wiles discussed then-U.S. President Donald Trump and his Jewish son-in-law Jared Kushner.
In the video that Shuaib shared, Wiles said [00:00:01]: “Mr Trump is not going to pursue Israeli spies in America. If he did, he wouldn’t have to go further than arresting his son-in-law Jared Kushner.”
On February 19, 2019, Shuaib shared a meme on Facebook showing all nine U.S. Supreme Court justices. Five of them were depicted with an Israeli flag over their chests. The image said: “2% OF THE POPULATION. JUST SAYING.” One of the justices with an Israel flag was Justice Sonia Sotomayor, the court’s first Latina.
Justice Clarence Thomas was labeled the “Token Black Guy,” while the other three were labeled as “Jesuit.”
The original poster of the meme wrote: “US SUPREME COURT DUAL NATIONALS & SAMBO [a racist slur against black people] Just as When Hitler Came to Power in Pre World War Germany, 2% Were in Control of Over 50% 0f that Nations Pillars of Power. POLITICS BANKING and MEDIA... Hmmmm?
Hatred of Israeli Jews
On December 1, 2018, Shuaib shared a meme to Facebookthat juxtaposed a photo of a red-headed Orthodox Jewish child next to a photo of two darker-skinned children. The meme said: “GUESS WHO HAS ANCESTORS LIVING IN PALESTINE FOR THOUSANDS YEARS [sic]”The original poster of the meme wrote: “Khazar & Slavs are not Semites.”
The “Khazar myth” refers to the assertion that Ashkenazi Jews are not descended from the ancient Israelites but instead come from the Khazar People, whose ruling class was said to have converted to Judaism. One way anti-Israel activists spread anti-Semitism is to promote the Khazar myth to deny [00:02:16] Israel’s legitimacy through the denial of Jewish ancestry and Jews’ connection to the Land of Israel.
On February 1, 2020, Shuaib shared a post on Facebook that read: “This is the core of Khazar Talmudic Judaism, the source of Zionism, in their own words.”
The post featured a meme with quotes alleged to have been said by Israeli and Jewish leaders, including a fabricated quote attributed to former Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin, that read: “Our race is the master. We are the divine Gods on this planet. We are as different from the inferior races as they are from insects.”
On July 6, 2020, Shuaib wrote on Facebook: “Just like the Crusaders used Christianity as a vechile to occupy and rule Palestine today The so called Eroupian Jew is using Judaism to occupy Palestine I called this the Zionist Crusades [sic]”
Accusing Israel of Controlling America
On February 2, 2020, Shuaib shared to Facebook a meme with a photo of former Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, captioned with a fabricated quote attributed to him.The photo’s caption read: “I want to tell you something very clear. Don’t worry about American pressure on Israel. We, the Jewish people, control America. And the Americans know it.” The original poster of the meme wrote: “Israel control America and America control world…”
On July 25, 2018, Shuaib shared to Facebooka meme that depicted Israel as a puppet master controlling the United States and the country’s major institutions. The caption on the meme read: “AMERICA IS ISRAEL’S MOST PROFITABLE PUPPET.”
The post that Shuaib shared also said: “Only puppets approved of by the Zionists are allowed to be President of the U.S. … candidates live in fear of the Zionist-controlled mainstream media because the Zionists can destroy any candidacy through their control of the media. …And, the American public is brainwashed by the Zionist-controlled U.S. mainstream media into fighting Israel's wars….The Israel Lobby is a Threat to world peace and must be exposed and Defeated.”
Supporting Terrorists
On September 10, 2021, Shuaib shared to Facebook a post that showed solidarity with two Palestinian terrorists who were recaptured after escaping from the Gilboa prison.On September 6, 2021, six Palestinian prisoners escaped from the maximum-security Gilboa Prison in Israel. The escaped prisoners were convicted members of the terror organizations Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) and the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade, who were jailed for their involvement in attacks carried out during the second intifada. All were recaptured by September 19, 2021, by Israeli authorities.
On August 16, 2021, Shuaib defended [01:05:55] the use of suicide bombings in a YouTube interview conducted at a WOL rally, saying: “So people ask: ‘Why do Palestinians blow themselves up?! Why do Palestinians kill Israelis?!’ Because you are stealing my land!”
The second intifada (2000-2005) was characterized by more than 120 suicide bombings targeting Israeli civilians on buses and in cafes.
On May 6, 2021, Shuaib shared an image on Facebook of Qasem Soleimani holding an assault rifle.
The original poster of the image wrote: “اگر شھداء نہ ھوتے تو آپ سب اسطرح آرام سے نہ بیٹھتےنہ سو سکتے تھے
Qasem Soleimani was the commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Quds Force, a branch of the Iranian military that carries out secret foreign operations. He was reportedly the second most powerful person in Iran. The United States designated Soleimani as a terrorist in 2011. In January 2020, the U.S. killed Soleimani in a targeted drone strike.
Anti-Zionist Conspiracy Theories
On April 7, 2019, Shuaib shared a video on Facebook that featured an interview with Lebanese academic Hassan Jouni who claimed [00:00:29] that the U.S. and the Zionist movement funded Hitler to bring him to power.Shuaib commented on the video, writing: “100% right.”
On October 13, 2018, Shuaib shared to Facebooka post that said: “Hitler was a Zionist himself.....”
The post featured a meme showing one photo of Hitler, captioned: “WE ARE THE MASTER RACE.” Below that photo was one of former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, captioned: “WE ARE GOD’S CHOSEN PEOPLE.” The meme’s caption said: “WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE?”
The International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) highlights as one possible contemporary example of anti-Semitism: “Denying the Jewish people their right to self-determination, e.g., by claiming that the existence of a State of Israel is a racist endeavor.” The U.S. State Department adopted the IHRA’s working definition of anti-Semitism in 2016. Over 40 other countries have adopted the definition as well.
On August 19, 2018, Shuaib shared to Facebook a since-deleted YouTube video titled: “Hitler founded Israel - 1933 The Transfer Agreement zionists & nazis (aka The Haavara Agreement).”
The 1933 Haavara agreement between Zionist leaders and Nazi Germany permitted German Jews to escape Europe to Palestine. The agreement is often cited by anti-Semites to frame Zionists as Nazi collaborators.
Hatred of Israel
On April 19, 2019, Shuaib shared an article to Facebook from the Altahrir news website, titled: “Israel hiding 300,000 documents about massacres carried out against Palestinians.”The title of the article overlaid a photo showing rows of corpses. The corpses were those of dead Jews, filling the courtyard of Nazi Germany’s Nordhausen concentration camp in 1945. The article suggested that the image showed Palestinian Arabs killed at Deir Yassin during the 1948 Arab-Israeli war.
On July 6, 2020, Shuaib shared to Facebooka post suggesting that Israeli students were responsible for the 9/11 terror attacks in 2001 on the Twin Towers in New York.
On May 30, 2021, during an episode of his podcast, Shuaib said [01:00:41] that when he was in school he wanted to “do a project about the genocide in Palestine…” He continued [01:00:45] by saying that his teachers told him “what happened in Palestine is not the same as the Holocaust. What happened to your people is more simple.”
Shuaib then said [01:00:53]: “I looked at this b**ch! I say b**ch! Are you saying a Jewish life is more expensive than a Palestinian life? … So how many Palestinians have to die?!”
Shuaib then suggested [01:01:05] that nearly as many Palestinians have died since 1948 as did during the Holocaust, despite the total being about 1% of that.
Shuaib said [01:01:05]: “Do you know how many Palestinians died from 1948 until today? 5,100,000. It’s almost the 6,000,000 mark. But these teachers, they have no regard because of their masari [money], of their money, because they care about their check. That’s it.”
In the same May 30, 2021, episode of his podcast, Shuaib said [00:22:59] in reference to Israel’s OGW against Hamas: “Go fight them face to face! Why you only bombing from the air? Because you want to punish the people. Because you say ‘we can’t get to Hamas, Hamas they are kicking our a**, ok so if we can’t get to Hamas, we’ll kill civilians.’”
On May 30, 2021, during the same podcast, Shuaib compared [00:06:00] Israel to the Crusaders of the Latin Church in the 12th century. He addressed Netanyahu and American conservative Jewish political commentator Ben Shapiro.
Shuaib said [00:06:00]: “We have to give the Israelis a history lesson because they forgot who Saladin is. Let me tell you who Saladin is. Ya, Benjamin Netanyahu! Ya, Ben Shapiro! You pieces of s**t! Let me tell you who Saladin is.”
Shuaib continued [00:06:14] by speaking about Saladin’s conquest of Jerusalem in 1187 from the Crusaders. Shuaib then said [00:06:41]: “Saladin came and he liberated Falasteen [Palestine]! And Falasteen will be liberated, mark my words! I bet everything I have, my dignity, my religion, everything I have!”
WOL Activism
On May 30, 2021, Shuaib said [01:27:26] during an episode of his podcast: “I wanna shout out Within Our Lifetime Palestine ‘cause they’re the ones who set up the protests. I wanna shout out Nerdeen Kiswani, ‘cause she’s the head of it. Subhanallah [may Allah be praised], man, the women are taking charge. I’m proud of her!”Nerdeen Kiswani is a co-founder and chairperson of WOL, which was known as NYC SJP until February 2018. Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) is a campus anti-Israel activist group. In her WOL activism, Kiswani has supported [01:02:43] violence against Zionists and called [00:08:43] for Israel’s destruction.
On July 7 2021, Shuaib hosted leading WOL activist Saadah Masoud on the Clash and Mash podcast, where Masoud expressed [00:52:04] violent hatred of Zionists. Masoud has violently attacked[00:00:07] Israel supporters and burned Israeli flags.
On July 31, 2021, Shuaib posted a video of Kiswani speaking at a WOL rally that day. Shuaib wrote: “They will not be forgotten free Palestine free Aqsa free Al Quds free the UMMAH [Muslim nation] FROM ZIONIST WESTERN OPPRESSION.” As Kiswani spoke, people held signs that said: “HONOR THE MARTYRS OF PALESTINE.”
The rally was organized as one of several actions by WOL as part of their Globalize Intifada campaign.
“Globalize the Intifada” is an anti-Israel campaign launched by Within Our Lifetime (WOL) in the summer of 2021, intended as an “ongoing strike at the heart of empire [sic] with Palestine as its compass.” The movement seeks to “break free from the genocidal grip of U.S. imperialism and Zionism” and advocates “liberation by any means necessary.”
During the same July 2021 protest, Husam Kaid, another WOL activist, sparked [01:02:29] some fireworks. Kiswani then yelled [01:02:43] before a large crowd: “I hope that a pop-pop is the last noise that some Zionists hear in their lifetime!” The crowd responded [01:02:49] with cheering and applause.
Supporting BDS
On February 8, 2020, Shuaib shared a link on Facebook to a private Facebook group, titled: “🌐World Boycott🌐 ISRAËL 🇵🇸🇵🇸.” The group’s about page said: “Boycott USA 🇺🇸 ISRAËL 🇮🇱 FREE PALESTINA 🇵🇸💪👊👍❤”On October 19, 2018, Shuaib shared a post on Facebook that called to “#BDS #BoycottIsrael” and featured an image of the Israeli barcode “729” stained with blood.
BDS
The Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement was founded by Omar Barghouti in 2005 to challenge “international support for Israeli apartheid and settler-colonialism.” BDS is an allegedly “Palestinian-led movement,” although leading BDS activists have admitted [00:01:01] this is not true.
One of the demands of BDS includes [point 3] what is generally known as the “right of return,” a demand discredited as a way to eliminate Israel. Barghouti said the “right of return” is a means to “end Israel’s existence as a Jewish state.”
Barghouti has said that BDS “aims to turn Israel into a pariah state, as South Africa once was.”
In his activism, Barghouti has also said [00:05:55] regarding Israel: “Definitely, most definitely, we oppose a Jewish state in any part of Palestine. No…rational Palestinian, not a sellout Palestinian, will ever accept a Jewish state in Palestine.”
The movement has been linked to numerous terrorist organizations and received a public endorsement from Hamas in 2017.
BDS initiatives include calling on institutions and individuals to divest from Israeli-affiliated companies, promoting academic and cultural boycotts of Israel, and organizing anti-Israel rallies, protests and campaigns.
The movement’s most notable achievement has been the infiltration of university campuses through lobbying for “BDS resolutions.” In these cases, student governments and student groups, backed by their own anti-Israel members and affiliates, have proposed resolutions on some form of boycott of, or divestment from, Israel and Israeli-affiliated entities.
Boycott resolutions, although non-binding, have been passed by student governments on numerous North American campuses.
BDS activity is often aggressive and disruptive. It has been noted that universities that pass BDS resolutions see a marked increase in anti-Semitic incidents on campus. On one campus, when the student government debated a BDS resolution, reports emerged of violent threats against those opposing it.
