Overview
Rick Wiles [Richard D. Wiles] has spread coronavirus anti-Semitism as well as general anti-Semitism and promoted anti-Semitic conspiracy theories. Wiles has also demonized Zionist Jews and promoted bigotry.As of June 2023, Wiles’s LinkedIn profile said he had been “President & CEO” at Flowing Streams, a church in Vero Beach, Florida, since September 1998.
Wiles is the founder of the TruNews website and the host of its podcast. The site disseminates anti-Semitic, homophobic, anti-Muslim and racist conspiracy theories. It was designated as a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center.
In February 2020, TruNews was permanently banned from YouTube.
As of December 2024, Wiles’s LinkedIn profile said he was located in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Coronavirus Anti-Semitism
On March 26, 2020, during the coronavirus pandemic, Wiles said[00:04:13]: “...AIPAC [American Israel Public Affairs Committee] was the first big cluster [of coronavirus] in America. And we told everybody: ‘Watch what happens. It's going to spread across America from AIPAC.’ Well, it's spreading in Israel through the synagogues.”Wiles added: [00:04:42]: “God is spreading it in your synagogues! You're under judgment, because you opposed His son, the Lord Jesus Christ! That is why you have a plague in your synagogues.”
On March 12, 2020, in an episode of his podcast, Wiles claimed [01:20:52]: “AIPAC was a super spreader of the virus! That's a simple fact, they spread it to New Rochelle, they spread it to Englewood, they spread it to Cleveland, they spread it to Los Angeles and it looks like they have spread it into the US Congress…”
Anti-Semitism
On December 13, 2019, in a TruNews episode from December 9, 2019, Wiles said [00:58:50]: “The Jews need to stop fighting God. They've been fighting God for thousands of years…They’re under the curses of Deuteronomy 28.”Wiles continued [01:00:54]: “and if you love the Jewish people you'll tell them that they're under a curse that can only be removed through the blood of Jesus Christ. See that's not anti-semitic. That is the love of God.”
In the same episode, Wiles said [00:57:20]: “...a fake Israel that's occupying Palestine...it's fake, it's populated by fake Jews, who speak a fake Hebrew language.”
On December 12, 2019, Wiles said [01:12:59] during a TruNews episode: “Jesus Christ is the King of the Jews. Don’t listen to your Rabbis! Your Rabbis are taking you to Hell.”
Wiles added [00:13:19]: “Turn away from those Rabbis! They’re hearing from the Devil.”
On May 17, 2019, Wiles was featured in a video where he said [00:00:19]: “Zionism brought the slaughter of 65 million babies to America and we’re going to end it and we are going to impose Christian rule in this country!”
Zionism is the belief that Jews have the right to self-determination in their own national home, and the right to develop their national culture. Zionism is a core part of the identity of most Jews.
Wiles went on to say [00:00:32]: “Why are you imposing Judaism on me? Because that’s exactly what’s been done in America since 1973...Judaism was imposed on me, imposed on my Christian nation and we became a Jewish nation that kills babies.”
Wile’s continued [00:00:58]: “Judaism became the law of the land in America. That’s precisely what the courts have ruled. They have based their rulings on the Zohar, on the Talmud, and now we have Zionistic Talmudic law ruling this country and resulting in the death of millions of babies.”
Wiles added [00:01:23]: “We Christians are standing up and we’re telling you that we’re done with Zionism! We’re done with your values! We are going to impose Christian values in America again, whether you like it or not.”
On May 10, 2019, Wiles was featured in an interview where he asked the interviewer [00:00:28]: “Who ties the President's hands?”
The interviewer replied [00:00:30]: “Someone more powerful than the President.”
Wiles responded [00:00:33]: “Yes. The Jewish Mafia.”
In the same video, Wiles said [00:00:47]: “And it’s not Muslims that are going to kill us! It’s Jews!”
On August 2, 2018, in a TruNews episode, speaking about the situation in the city of Hebron and the West Bank, Wiles said [00:49:37]: “They [Israelis] took the same principles that Nazis used against them and they're now using Nazi tactics against the Palestinians.”
The International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) highlights as one possible contemporary example of anti-Semitism: “Drawing comparisons of contemporary Israeli policy to that of the Nazis.” The U.S. State Department adopted the IHRA’s working definition of anti-Semitism in 2016. Over 40 countries have adopted the definition as well.
On July 17, 2018, Wiles said [00:30:13] in a TruNews episode: “The synagogue of Satan: Communist Jews, yes Communist Jews, overthrew Russia.”
Wiles went on to say [01:09:31]: “Go ahead and study what happened to the Tsar of Russia, and just study the Satanism, the Jewish Kabbalah, all that was present in that revolution.”
Promoting Anti-Semitic Conspiracy Theories
On October 3, 2024, Wiles posted on X: “Zionists have colonized the minds of millions of Americans. Their brains are now Israeli occupied territories. Americans obey Zionists without asking why they are obligated to submit to them.”
Popular anti-Semitic conspiracy theories claim Jews control the world’s finance, media and governments. Some anti-Semites use the term “Zionists” as a euphemism for “Jews” to express supposed Jewish global power.
Wiles continued [00:01:39]: “And what is coming is a global entity that is gonna be Zionism and homosexuality, and it's going to be operated through artificial intelligence..."
On September 19, 2018, Wiles said [00:04:10] in a TruNews episode: “The Jews are getting ready for the ‘Final Solution’ of the Palestinian people, they want to eradicate them.”
The Final Solution was a Nazi plan to exterminate all Jews.
On May 10, 2019, Wiles said [00:00:41]: “I personally believe Israel took out John F. Kennedy.”
On the same day, Wiles was featured in an interview where he asked the interviewer [00:00:03]: “Who can’t you criticize in America?”
The interviewer replied [00:00:05]: “The Jewish Lobby.”
Wiles responded [00:00:06]: “Yes.That tells you who controls the country.”
On December 13, 2019, Wiles said [00:50:01] in an episode of TruNews: “Some of the people that attacked me said basically ‘he's schizophrenic, because one day he says that Donald Trump is under the control of Zionist Jews and then the next day says [that] Zionist Jews are trying to remove him.’ Yes. Both are true. Yes, they're playing both sides.”
On December 21, 2019, Wiles said [00:24:54] in a TruNews episode: “We want to show you, just to give you an idea of what it's like to be under Jewish rule, because you better think about it here in America. You better think about it, because what they want to do is...they want to take the ‘Zionist Occupation’ global.”
Wiles continued [00:25:46]: “The Zionists want to globalize the Occupation.”
Wiles added [00:25:58] that the Palestinians were the “test case” and that Zionists wanted to use “surveillance technology and artificial intelligence” to globalize the Occupation and dominate the world.”
Wiles went on to invoke a conspiracy theory, pushed by the anti-Israel organization Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP), as “the Deadly Exchange,” saying [00:26:29]: “How many police departments in America send their officers to Israel for Israeli training?”
In 2017, JVP launched the “Deadly Exchange” (DX) campaign, accusing American Jewish organizations of promoting human rights abuses by coordinating exchange programs between American and Israeli security personnel to advance “worst practices" and racist policies. The campaign blamed [00:04:04] Jewish organizations for violence against Black and Brown communities, immigrants and activists in the U.S.
Wiles continued and said [01:13:26]: “Al Qaeda was a CIA organization. ISIS is an Israeli Mossad operation. I don’t think there are any Muslims in ISIS. It’s just Stern Gang, dressed up as Muslims...butchering Christians, to make people hate the Muslims.”
Mossad is Israel’s national intelligence agency. The Stern Gang was a Zionist paramilitary organization who fought for Israel’s independence in the 1940s.
Wiles finished saying [01:17:02]: “Folks, are you starting to understand why I'm warning you about Zionism?…What you see on the surface is only what they want you to see. You got to dig down below. You can find Nazism, fascism, communism, socialism and a lot of bloodshed.”
On January 13, 2020, Wiles said [00:19:33] in an episode of TruNews: “Zionism is the darkest, spiritual, demonic stronghold, in control of America today.”
Wiles continued [00:19:42]: “I’ve come to realize, this is a demonic stronghold, that’s destroying America. Zionism…It’s demonic! It’s not just political, it’s demonic and, sadly, the Evangelical church world in America, it is in collusion with the Satanic stronghold, feeding into it. Idolizing it.”
Wiles added [00:20:47]: “...This thing is choking the life out of America. And it explains this whole horrific mess that we are in. How did this country fall to such a state that we’re in.
During a June 13, 2020 episode of TruNews, Wiles claimed [00:41:26]: “A Minneapolis police officer put his knee on George Floyd’s neck because the Minnesota police were trained in Israel to treat people like animals.”
On May 25, 2020, George Floyd, a black man, was arrested and killed by a white police officer in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Wiles continued [00:41:38]: “This is why America is ripped apart today in 2020.”
Wiles added [00:42:32]: “... nobody should put their knee on your neck. Nobody should put their knee on the neck of a white man, a brown man, anybody. But there is a force that wants to put their knees on our neck. They want us in submission.”
Demonizing Zionist Jews
On December 20, 2019, Wiles said [00:58:41] in an episode of TruNews: “Understand this. The Zionist Jews were fighting alongside Hitler and Mussolini, with an understanding that the Jews would leave Europe and Italy and be given Palestine.”Wiles then claimed [00:59:05]: “the Zionist Jews fought for the Nazi Germany!...You hear this Holocaust stuff. Do you understand what these people [The Jews] really did? They don’t want anybody to know they were fighting with the Nazis.”
He continued [01:09:48] : “They want to threaten you [and] intimidate you not to tell the world that they worked hand-in-hand with Adolf Hitler and the Nazis and Mussolini and Joseph Stalin …”
In the same podcast Wiles went on to say [01:06:28]: “Why is the Middle East in constant war? Because the terrorists, the Israeli, Zionist terrorists are carrying out the Stern Gang’s goals, perpetual war against anybody who stands against them. It’s Zionist jihad. That’s what it is, it’s Zionist jihad. ”
Bigotry
On January 3, 2020, Wiles was featured [00:00:33] in a video shared on YouTube, where he said: “America, you’ve been Homosexualized, you’ve been Juda-ized.”In the same video, Wiles said [00:01:04]: “God’s bringing another people into America and pushing the White Europeans off the land. And so we have a Brown invasion that has come in.”
On May 31, 2019, Wiles said [00:01:56] during a TruNews episode: “The Trump Campaign, the Republican party, does not support Christian values,they support Jewish values. Because Homosexuality is a Jewish value, it’s not a Christian value…According to the Talmud.”
The Talmud is a fundamental text of Rabbinic Judaism and a primary source of Jewish religious law and Jewish theology.
Wiles continued [00:02:14]: “It’s the Jewish population in this country that promoted LGBT rights in this country, and there’s Donald Trump's support for LGBT. Christians, you’ve been taken for a ride, all of us. Republican party, they’ve taken us for a ride.”
Wiles added [00:02:33]: “And they get away with it because the so-called Christian Right, is a bunch of spineless cowards who are bought off by Zionists to do the dirty work of Israel and use their Churches to promote Israel’s agenda…”
