Alyiah Gonzales

Alyiah Gonzales is a university instructor who spread hatred of Israel in the classroom during Israel’s war with Hamas terrorists in January 2024. Gonzales’s action was part of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.

The incident occurred in the wake of Hamas terror atrocities and war crimes against Israeli civilians, including mass murder, torture, rape, beheadings and kidnappings, which were executed on October 7, 2023.

The Hamas terror attacks left over 1,200 Israelis dead, hundreds kidnapped and thousands wounded. Israel retaliated with a war called “Swords of Iron.”

Hamas has been designated as a terrorist organization by the U.S., Canada, European Union, Israel and other countries. Founded in 1987, it has killed thousands of Israeli civilians through mass shootings and suicide bombings. Hamas has also kidnapped children, families and the elderly and held them hostage in Gaza. It has desecrated [slide 7] dead bodies and launched numerous rocket attacks against Israeli civilians.

As of January 28, 2024, Gonzales, who also goes by Alyiah Marie Gonzales, was listed on Cornell’s website as the university instructor in the College of Arts and Sciences. Cornell is located in Ithaca, New York.

As of the same date, Gonzales was listed on the Goodreads website as a published author. Gonzales’s bio said: “Alyiah Gonzales (she/they) is an unhinged zillenial who spends most of their time escaping into fantasy.”

As of January 29, 2024, Gonzales’s LinkedIn profile said Gonzales was a PhD student in the Department of Literatures in English at Cornell, slated to graduate in May 2026. Gonzales’s LinkedIn also said Gonzales had been a course instructor at Cornell since August 2022.

As of the same date, Gonzales’s LinkedIn also said Gonzales graduated from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo (Cal Poly SLO), with a bachelor’s degree in “English Literature and Literature/Letters” in 2020.
