Bernadette Lim
Bernadette [Bernie] Lim is a medical doctor who justified Hamas terrorism, spread anti-Semitic conspiracy theories, expressed hatred of Zionists, and demonized Israel, in the wake of the Hamas terrorist attacks on Israelis on October 7, 2023.
On October 7, 2023, Hamas murdered approximately 1,200 Israelis, kidnapped hundreds and wounded thousands. War crimes included mass rape and torture. Many Palestinian civilians participated in and supported the attacks, and Gazans working in the targeted Israeli communities gave intelligence to Hamas on where to strike.

As of January 2025, Lim was listed on the San Francisco State University (SFSU) website as a part-time faculty member at the SFSU Institute for Holistic Health Studies.
Also as of January 2025, Lim was listed as a lecturer in the SFSU Department of Recreation, Parks and Tourism.
Bernadette (Bernie) Lim is registered as the agent for Freedom Community Clinic, Inc., Company Number 4256732, a nonprofit incorporated in California, and is listed as the founder and executive director of the Freedom Community Clinic Inc.
Lim received a doctor of medicine degree from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) in 2022.
As of January 2025, Lim was listed on her personal website as located in Oakland, California.
Lim justified Hamas terrorism in a 2023 repost on X, according to a tip submitted to Canary Mission in November 2024.
On October 7, 2023, the day Hamas terrorists killed approximately 1,200 Israelis, Lim reposted an October 7, 2023 post on X that said: "what did y'all think decolonization meant? vibes? papers? essays? losers."
On Saturday, October 7, 2023, approximately 2,900 heavily armed Hamas terrorists breached Israel’s border with Gaza. They executed numerous war crimes on civilians, including mass murder, beheadings of children, rape of men and women, torture, kidnappings and mutilation.
Hamas broadcast videos of their butchery on social media, often to victims’ accounts for families to see. Israel retaliated with a war called “Swords of Iron.” As of November 10, 2023, approximately 1,200 Israelis, the vast majority of them civilians, were murdered during the attacks. Hamas kidnapped 242 Israelis, including at least 30 children. At least 3,500 people were wounded, many severely.
A terrorist detained by Israel admitted he raped an Israeli woman when he broke into a kibbutz house during the October 7, 2023 attack. In March 2024, a former hostage of Hamas publicly stated she was sexually abused and tortured while in captivity.

On December 10, 2023, during Israel's war against Hamas, Lim posted on X: "Zionism controls the agenda of traditional places of power & old money: Hollywood celebrities, Ivy Leagues, mass media outlets, government. These institutions— many based on lies, deceit, & illusion— no longer resonate w the majority of people. The power rests with the People."
The assertion that Jews control the media has been traced to the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, an anti-Semitic fabricated text that depicts wealthy Jews conspiring to take over the world.
During Israel's war against Hamas, Lim reposted a May 26, 2024 post on X that said: "...Israel, [then U.S. President] Joe Biden, and every utterly depraved Zionist worldwide represent an unfathomable, Satanic evil."
On January 7, 2024, Lim posted on X: "Everyone in higher ed, academia, and medicine should be alarmed of the way Zionists and white supremacists are weaponizing antisemitism now under the guise of 'plagiarism'..."
On October 24, 2023, during Israel's war against Hamas, Lim posted on X accusing Israel of committing an " indescribable genocide."
Lim reposted a November 6, 2023 post on X that showed anti-Israel professor Noura Erakat promoting [00:00:10] the idea of "Nakba" as she spoke at an anti-Israel protest.
The term “Nakba” is generally translated as “catastrophe” in Arabic, referring to the outcome of the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. It is a term used to delegitimize the creation of the State of Israel by drawing a comparison to the Holocaust, known in Hebrew as the Shoah, meaning “catastrophe.”
