Behrooz Moazami
Behrooz Moazami signed an anti-Israel letter during Israel’s war against Hamas terrorists. Israel launched the war after the October 7, 2023, terror attacks.

The May 8, 2024 letter Behrooz Moazami signed accused Israel of “genocide” in its war against Hamas and showed support for the pro-terror campus encampments. It also endorsed elements of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.
As of May 2025, Behrooz Moazami was listed as a professor emeritus of history at Loyola University New Orleans (Loyola), as well as the founder and director of Loyola's Middle East peace studies program.
Loyola is located in New Orleans, Louisiana.
