Identity Evropa (IE)

IE founder, Nathan Damigo, is a former United States Marine who began reading the works of white nationalists Jared Taylor and David Duke while serving four years in prison for armed robbery. Damigo is also an associate of Richard Spencer, a prominent American white nationalist leader.

Damigo has used his Twitter account to spread antisemitic conspiracy theories.

Damigo resigned as the CEO of IE on August 27, 2017. He was succeeded by former IE head organizer Eli Mosley, who also spreads antisemitism on social media.

On May 15, 2017, IE joined other white nationalist groups like the League of the South (LS) and the Traditional Workers Party (TWP) in Charlottesville to protest the planned removal of a statue of Confederate General Robert E. Lee.

White nationalists in Charlottesville also chanted [00:00:24] “Jews will not replace us!” while other IE activists attending the rallies chanted: “f**k you faggots” and the Nazi-era “blood and soil” chant.

On August 11-12, 2017, IE participated in the infamous “Unite The Right” rallies in Charlottesville, Virginia. IE is known for its “You Will Not Replace Us” slogan - a call to action against people of color, which became famous as a result of the rallies.

IE activists who attended the Charlottesville rallies yelled [00:04:34]: “f**k you faggots!” as well as [00:00:35] the Nazi-era “blood and soil” chant.

On August 4, 2017, Damigo reportedly said IE wanted to “replicate” the coordinated efforts of left-wing activist agitation and has since held multiple public rallies, postering on college campuses, and event disruptions to advance its narrative.

On August 2, 2017, IE activists disrupted [00:02:27] a Miami event that advocated for sanctuary city policies. In the middle of the event, IE activists unfurled [00:02:07] a banner which read: “SECURE OUR BORDER - SECURE OUR FUTURE - IDENTITY EVROPA,” and marched on stage with it.

On May 27, 2017, IE activists protested against the planned removal of a Florida statue honoring Confederate soldiers. IE activists held Confederate flags and posed with a banner reading: “YOU WILL NOT REPLACE US - OUR PAST - OUR CULTURE - OUR PEOPLE - IDENTITY EVROPA.”

On May 1, 2017, a YouTube video was published depicting IE’s first year. In the video, it showed IE activists in New York City chanting [00:04:09] “One People! One Nation! End Immigration!” The chant resembles the Nazi-era chant translated as “One People! One Nation! One Leader!”

On October 17, 2016, IE held [00:14:16] an anti-immigration and anti-sanctuary city rally in San Francisco. IE activists chanted [00:16:15]: “No sanction! No quarter! Get back on your side of the border!”
