Zainab Khan

Zainab Khan expressed support for terrorism and spread hatred of Israel as a member of a coalition to reinstate pro-terror and anti-Israel campus groups suspended by Columbia University (Columbia) in November 2023.

Khan’s activism in the Columbia University Apartheid Divest (CUAD) coalition took place in early 2024. CUAD is part of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement. She also participated in activism with the pro-terror group Within Our Lifetime (WOL).

As of April 2024, Khan’s LinkedIn said she had been a part-time “Coach” in the pro-BDS group, U.S. Campaign for Palestinian Rights (USCPR), since August 2023.

Khan expressed support for terrorism in the wake of Hamas terror atrocities and war crimes against Israeli civilians, including mass murder, torture, rape, beheadings and kidnappings, which were executed on October 7, 2023.

The Hamas terror attacks left over 1,200 Israelis dead, hundreds kidnapped and thousands wounded. Israel retaliated with a war called “Swords of Iron,” which was going on during her CUAD and WOL activism.

Hamas has been designated as a terrorist organization by the U.S., Canada, European Union, Israel and other countries. Founded in 1987, it has killed thousands of Israeli civilians through mass shootings and suicide bombings. Hamas has also kidnapped children, families and the elderly and held them hostage in Gaza. It has desecrated [slide 7] dead bodies and launched numerous rocket attacks against Israeli civilians.

Khan, who also goes by Zainab Parveen Khan, was reportedly a member of CUAD in January 2024 and affiliated with WOL in February 2024.

CUAD is a coalition of “over 80 student groups working toward the goal of collective liberation.” Its demands include “a ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas war, divestment from Israel…and to reinstate” the campus chapters of Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) and Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) after the university suspended them. CUAD began in 2016 but was revived in late 2023.

As of April 3, 2024, Khan’s LinkedIn profile said she was studying for a master’s degree in social work at Columbia, slated to graduate in 2024. Columbia is located in New York, New York.

Also as of April 3, 2024, Khan’s LinkedIn said she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in political science from Georgia State University (Georgia State) in Atlanta, in 2019.

As of the same date, Khan’s LinkedIn said she had been interning as a “School Success Coach” at the International Rescue Committee (IRC) since January 2024.
