Sumer Mobarak
Sumer Mobarak [Sumer Kamal Mobarak] was arrested at a violent anti-Israel rally. She has expressed support for Hamas terrorism, promoted anti-Israel conspiracy theories and spread hatred of Israel.
Mobarak has participated in multiple anti-Israel protests and confronted U.S. public officials, calling for a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas and a stop to U.S. economic aid to Israel. She is a supporter of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.
Mobarak's anti-Israel activism and social media posts took place during Israel’s war against Hamas terrorists. Israel launched the war, called called “Swords of Iron,” after a series of Hamas terror attacks and war crimes against Israeli civilians, including mass murder, torture, rape, beheadings and kidnappings. The atrocities were executed on October 7, 2023, and left approximately 1,200 Israelis dead, hundreds kidnapped and thousands wounded.
As of May 2024, Mobarak was a member of the anti-Israel group CODEPINK.
As of February 2025, TMJ News Network reported [00:00:10] that Mobarak was a member of the anti-Israel activist group "Die-In For Humanity," which is based in the Washington, D.C. area.
As of March 2025, Mobarak's LinkedIn profile said she was the owner and president of S & M Trucking and Transportation LLC.
Also as of March 2025, Mobarak's LinkedIn said she graduated from Clemson University (Clemson) with a bachelor's degree in microbiology and bioengineering in 1999.
As of the same date, Mobarak's LinkedIn said she was located in Manassas, Virginia.
