Sarah Mahmoud

Overview

Sarah Mahmoud has spread hatred of Israel on Twitter. Mahmoud was also affiliated with the Muslim Students Association (MSA) in 2016.

As of November 2022, Mahmoud’s LinkedIn page said she had been the “Vice President” of operations at Med+Proctor since April 2021. She also worked for the company since October 2016. Mahmoud indicated that she was located in the “Nashville Metropolitan Area” in Tennessee.

Mahmoud’s LinkedIn page also indicated that she started a master's degree in “Healthcare, Business Administration and Management” at Vanderbilt University, Owen Graduate School of Management, in August 2022. She graduated from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) with a bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration in December 2017.

As of November 2022, Mahmoud used the handle “@memefeening” on Twitter and the username “Susu.”

Hatred of Israel

Mahmoud retweeted a May 21, 2021 tweet shortly after Israel’s Operation Guardian of the Walls (OGW) against Hamas that read: “As you can see, Apartheid doesn’t do ceasefires. It is either dismantled or not.”

In May 2021, Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) terrorists fired over 4,300 rockets from Gaza at major population centers in Israel. Israel responded by launching OGW, carrying out targeted military strikes in Gaza.

On October 15, 2020, Mahmoud tweeted: “Just watching videos explaining the atrocity that is Isr*el to make myself mad what up.”

On June 21, 2020, Mahmoud tweeted: “Imagine your grandparents travelingthousands of miles to settle down on stolen land just for you to be forced to join the IDF [Israel Defense Force].”

One way anti-Israel activists spread anti-Semitism is by denying [00:17:45] Jewish history, with the aim of delegitimizing restored Jewish sovereignty, attacking Israel’s legitimacy and portraying Jews as foreign to the Land of Israel.

Mahmoud retweeted a May 2, 2020 tweet that read: “SpongeBob doesn’t recognize Israel.”

On March 15, 2015, Mahmoud tweeted: “Regardless of religion, if you're Palestinian, Israel will treat you like a subhuman.”

On January 2, 2016, Mahmoud tweeted : “And just like most Muslims don't identify their loyalty to Saudi Arabia Jews should also recognize the evil that is Zionist Israel.”

Mahmoud retweeted a June 18, 2015 tweet that read: “Israel is nothing but racist and we'd rather aid a country who are hateful to peaceful Muslims than help our own smh [shaking my head].”

On June 18, 2015, Mahmoud tweeted that “America is Israel's puppet.”

On the same date, Mahmoud tweeted that “Judaism isn’t the problem though, it’s Zionism!” In the same Twitter thread, she accused Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of carrying out “ethnic cleansing.”

Zionism is the belief that Jews have the right to self-determination in their own national home, and the right to develop their national culture.
