Sam Kuttab
Sam Kuttab [Samuel Kuttab] participated in a pro-Hamas rally on October 21, 2023, following the murder of nearly 1,200 Israelis by Hamas on October 7, 2023. For more information on the attacks, see the Canary Mission page on Hamas.
Since the October 7, 2023 attacks, Kuttab has engaged in anti-Israel activism in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, during Israel’s war against Hamas. Kuttab uses his Facebook page to spread hatred of Israel and to promote his activism, including with local political leaders.
On July 25, 2024, Kuttab wrote on Facebook: “Free USA
/ Following [Israeli Prime Minister] Netanyahu's address to Congress, it's evident that the United States must break free from Israel’s undue influence. Our country’s foreign policy should prioritize American interests and values, not be dictated by the agenda of a foreign government. It's time for the USA to reassert its independence and make decisions that promote peace, justice, and human rights for all, rather than being swayed by Israel’s lobbying efforts.”
The “Israel Lobby” is a conspiracy theory alleging Israeli and Jewish control over the U.S. government. Proponents of the theory decry the negative effects on American interests, particularly in foreign policy.
In March 2015, Kuttab pled guilty to a federal corruption case involving a local judge. Kuttab was sentenced to six months in jail in September 2015.
