Rita Lahoud

Rita Lahoud is a public school teacher in Brooklyn, New York, who spread hatred of Israel in 2023 and early 2024, during Israel’s war against Hamas terrorists.

The incident occurred both before and after a series of Hamas terror attacks and war crimes against Israeli civilians. The Hamas atrocities, which were executed on October 7, 2023, included mass murder, torture, rape, beheadings and kidnappings. The attacks left over 1,200 Israelis dead, hundreds kidnapped and thousands wounded. Israel retaliated with a war called “Swords of Iron.”

Hamas has been designated as a terrorist organization by the U.S., Canada, European Union, Israel and other countries. Founded in 1987, it has killed thousands of Israeli civilians through mass shootings and suicide bombings. Hamas has also kidnapped children, families and the elderly and held them hostage in Gaza. It has desecrated [slide 7] dead bodies and launched numerous rocket attacks against Israeli civilians.

As of January 14, 2024, Lahoud was listed as an art and Arabic teacher at Public School 261 in Brooklyn, New York.

Also as of January 14, 2024, Lahoud was listed online as teaching Arabic to students in grades 1-4, including “art and science content using Arabic as the instructional language.”

As of the same date, Lahoud was listed on the New York State Department of Education website as the holder of a “Special Education Permanent Certificate” and a “Bilingual Education (Non-Elementary) Permanent Extension.”

As of January 14, 2024, Lahoud’s since-deleted LinkedIn profile said she was the co-founder and education director at Go Project Hope.

In December 2020, Lahoud was listed online as having received a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education and a master’s degree in special education.
