Overview
Bashar Alises [Bashar Khaled Alises] has expressed support for the terror group Hamas and spread hatred of Israel on Twitter.In 2017, Alises indicated on Twitter that he was affiliated with the Dallas Palestine Coalition (DPC).
As of January 2020, Alises’s LinkedIn page said he was a student at the University of Texas, Arlington (UT Arlington), majoring in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering, from “2019 - 2021.”
As of January 2020, Alises used the alias “Bashar Khaled” on Facebook and went by “kingbeeeeesho” on Twitter.
Support for Hamas
On January 27, 2019, Alises tweeted: “Hamas is the one putting the biggest dent in the Isreali army....a HUGE majority of Palestinians support hamas and if not them then Fateh. And the ones who support Fateh aren’t even against Hamas they just prefer the military tactics of Fateh, which is soft…”Alises added: “Hamas is ready is to kill as many Israeli soilders at any time of any day. Hamas is what’s keeping Israel out of Gaza as well.”
Spreading Hatred of Israel
On May 23, 2019, Alises tweeted: “Allah ye7erk kul 2l zionists ya rab [May Allah burn all the Zionists please god]. This is just the beginning for y’all .”Alises’s tweet was in response to a tweet that read: “Extreme heatwave in #Israel leads to numerous fires leading to evacuations of a few villages. Additionally, #Israel is considering asking friendly countries in the region, for aerial firefighting support.”
On December 14, 2018, Alises tweeted: “4 Palestinians civilians have been killed in protests by the IDF in just the past 24 hours in Ramallah. The 4th intifada will be starting soon. May Allah protect the soldiers of Palestine.”
Since the early 2000s, the term “intifada,” which translates from Arabic as “uprising” or “insurrection,” has carried the connotation of violence.
On November 6, 2018, Alises tweeted: “Its not a sad truth. It’s not a truth at all. Kentucky’s rep, John Yarmuth, the top Democrat on the house budget Committee spoke on the Isreali government in May for the ‘horrific man slaughter’ to over 50 Palestinians. There’s a lot like him. Don’t need to support Israel to win.”
In May 2018, terror group Hamas instigated violent riots on the Israeli-Gaza border. Thousands of rioters attempted to breach Israel’s border fence, declaring their intention to harm Jews across the border under the pretext of “peaceful resistance.”
On May 16, 2018, a Hamas senior official, Salah al-Bardawil, stated that 50 out of 62 protesters killed during the May 14 Gaza border protest were Hamas operatives. Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) also claimed that three of its members were killed at the same protest.
On October 21, 2018, Alises tweeted: “F**k that flag and f**k you too if you’re mad at this come gargle on my Palestinian nut sack.”
Alises’s tweet was in response to a tweet by a female Israeli soldier that read: “Look at that beautiful flag behind me.” The tweet featured a selfie with an Israeli flag hanging at the back of a bus.
