Rida Hamida

Rida Hamida is a California state assembly staffer who led and participated in multiple anti-Israel disruptions in late 2023 and early 2024. Protesters at the disruptions blocked traffic and the disruptions took place during Israel’s war against Hamas terrorists.

The incidents occurred following a series of Hamas terror atrocities and war crimes against Israeli civilians, including mass murder, torture, rape, beheadings and kidnappings, which were executed on October 7, 2023.

The Hamas terror attacks left over 1,200 Israelis dead, hundreds kidnapped and thousands wounded. Israel retaliated with a war called “Swords of Iron.”

Hamas has been designated as a terrorist organization by the U.S., Canada, European Union, Israel and other countries. Founded in 1987, it has killed thousands of Israeli civilians through mass shootings and suicide bombings. Hamas has also kidnapped children, families and the elderly and held them hostage in Gaza. It has desecrated [slide 7] dead bodies and launched numerous rocket attacks against Israeli civilians.

Hamida was affiliated with the anti-Israel groups SJP and JVP in January 2024.

As of January 16, 2024, Hamida’s Instagram bio said she was a community organizer.

Also as of January 16, 2024, Hamida’s LinkedIn profile bio said she was a “CA [California] State Assembly Staffer; Founder of Latino Muslim Unity, Co-Founder #TacoTrucksatEveryMosque.”

Hamida wrote on LinkedIn that her position at the California State Assembly was “Event Management/Fund Development Director/Labor Deputy.”

As of January 1, 2024, Hamida was listed online as the executive director of LMU. As of January 16, 2024, she was listed online as the agent at LMU, which had the nonprofit company number 4217268 and was registered in Anaheim, California.

As of January 16, 2024, Hamida was also listed online as the agent at the Refugee Forum of Orange County, Inc., nonprofit company number 3114230, registered address in Anaheim, California. As of the same date, Hamida’s Facebook Intro said she was the “Vice Chair” of the Refugee Forum of Orange County.

On October 5, 2023, Hamida wrote on Facebook that she studied for an associate’s degree and later attended the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where she also attended graduate school at UCLA’s Department of Social Welfare.
