Rhea Shetty
Rhea Shetty is a medical student who expressed support for Hamas terrorism and spread hatred of Israel during its war against Hamas in late 2023 and early 2024.
Shetty’s statements on social media followed a series of terror atrocities and war crimes against Israeli civilians perpetrated by the terror group, including mass murder, torture, rape, beheadings and kidnappings, which were executed on October 7, 2023.
The Hamas terror attacks left over 1,200 Israelis dead, hundreds kidnapped and thousands wounded. Israel retaliated with a war called “Swords of Iron.”
Hamas has been designated as a terrorist organization by the U.S., Canada, European Union, Israel and other countries. Founded in 1987, it has killed thousands of Israeli civilians through mass shootings and suicide bombings. Hamas has also kidnapped children, families and the elderly and held them hostage in Gaza. It has desecrated [slide 7] dead bodies and launched numerous rocket attacks against Israeli civilians.
Shetty also participated in the “National March on Washington: Free Palestine” demonstration in Washington, D.C., on November 4, 2023.
In April 2023, Shetty shared [slide 5] on Instagram that she was accepted to Georgetown University (Georgetown) School of Medicine in the Doctor of Medicine degree program for the class of 2027.
As of January 2024, Shetty’s Instagram said she was a photographer and a “dc & nyc creator.”
