Paula Bel
Paula Bel has expressed support for terrorism, spread antisemitism and anti-Israel conspiracy theories, promoted hatred of America, called for Israel's destruction, and engaged in anti-Israel activism.
Bel is a supporter of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.
As of February 2026, Bel's LinkedIn said she was a stand-up comic. Her LinkedIn said she was located in the Los Angeles metropolitan area.
On December 9, 2023, during Israel's war against Hamas, Bel posted a video on Instagram, in which she justified Hamas's "resistance."
Among Palestinians and anti-Israel activists, the term “resistance” is a euphemism for nationalistic terror and is used to glorify and encourage anti-Israel and antisemitic violence.
On October 7, 2023, Hamas murdered approximately 1,200 Israelis, kidnapped hundreds and wounded thousands. War crimes included mass rape and torture. Many Palestinian civilians participated in and supported the attacks, and Gazans working in the targeted Israeli communities gave intelligence to Hamas on where to strike.
For more information, see the Canary Mission page on Hamas.
On June 25, 2024, Bel posted a video on Instagram, in which she expressed support for Yemen and wrote: "Yemen YE A friend, brother like no other."
Following the outbreak of Israel’s 2023 war against Hamas, Houthi terrorists attacked commercial ships off Yemen’s Red Sea coast and launched missiles into southern Israel. Like Hamas, the Houthi movement is backed by Iran, and is designated as a terror group by the United States, Saudi Arabia and other countries.
The Houthi slogan reads: “God is the Greatest / Death to America / Death to Israel / A Curse Upon the Jews / Victory to Islam.”
On October 2, 2024, Bel posted a video on Instagram, in which she expressed support for Iran and wrote: "Iran Iran Iran! #stopisrael #israelcrimes #genocide..."
On October 1, 2024, Iran fired approximately 180 ballistic missiles into Israel, resulting in the death of one Palestinian, and damage to homes and civilian structures. Iran claimed the attack was in response to Israel's killing of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran and Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah in Beirut. Hamas and Hezbollah are Iranian terror proxies.
On February 16, 2026, Bel posted on Instagram a video that said [00:00:34]: "...over 90% of today's Jews are racially non-Jewish" along with text that said: "Synagogue of Satan" and "#zionismisterrorism."
One method that anti-Israel activists often use to spread antisemitism and deny Israel’s legitimacy is to claim that Jews are not descended from the ancient Israelites and are therefore not Jews. The most common version of this claim is the “Khazar myth.”
On June 11, 2025, Bel posted a video on Instagram in which she said [00:01:14]: "...colonialism which is Zionism which is racism..."
The International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) highlights as one possible contemporary example of anti-Semitism: “Denying the Jewish people their right to self-determination, e.g., by claiming that the existence of a State of Israel is a racist endeavor.” The U.S. State Department adopted the IHRA’s working definition of anti-Semitism in 2016. Over 40 other countries have adopted the definition as well.
On March 29, 2024, Bel posted a video on Instagram where someone said [00:00:01]: "F**k Israel all day every day. F**k Israel till my last breath. F**k Israel till I'm in jail or I get shot. F**k Israel, F**k Zionism...F**k you, you colonial f**king settlers. Go f**k off back wherever you came from, you murdering psychopath colonizer motherf**kers..."
One way anti-Israel activists spread antisemitism is by denying Jewish history, with the aim of delegitimizing restored Jewish sovereignty, attacking Israel’s legitimacy and portraying Jews as foreign to the Land of Israel.
On February 19, 2024, Bel posted a video on Instagram, in which she justified Hamas's October 7, 2023 terror attacks.
In the video, Belo called Israel [00:00:28] "Israhell," and then said: [00:00:40] "But now we all know you're Zionists. And we know what that equates to Nazis."
The International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) highlights as one possible contemporary example of anti-Semitism: “Drawing comparisons of contemporary Israeli policy to that of the Nazis.” The U.S. State Department adopted the IHRA’s working definition of anti-Semitism in 2016. Over 40 countries have adopted the definition as well.
On January 25, 2026, Bel posted on Instagram a video, in which she said [00:00:01]: "...you will never be able to convince me that all those school shootings, the beating and unaliving of black and brown people on a weekly, if not daily basis in the United States wasn't done by design...you will never be able to convince me that it wasn't done by that small counterfeit blue country [Israel]..."
On August 15, 2024, Bel posted on Instagram a video, in which she referred [00:00:06] to "the United States of AIPAC" and said, referring to Israel [00:00:47]: "...You're all enslaved to a foreign counterfeit country who's taken over your Congress, presidency seat..."
The stated mission of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) is to “strengthen, protect and promote the U.S.-Israel relationship in ways that enhance the security of the United States and Israel.”
The implication that AIPAC buys political support for Israel has been described as playing into “anti-Semitic tropes” that led to “centuries of stereotypes about Jews using money to control the world.”
On November 13, 2025, Bel posted a video on Instagram and wrote: "
Land of the Fools, Home of the Brainless."
On April 28, 2025, Bel posted a video on Instagram and wrote: "U.S. Hates Children" and "I live in a country thats committed and normalized gen0cide against black and brown people."
On March 18, 2025, Bel posted a video on Instagram and wrote: "United Shame of Amerik k k a."
The term “Amerikkka” uses the initials of the Ku Klux Klan (KKK) as a way to demonize America as fundamentally and irredeemably “fascist or racist.”
On September 19, 2024, Bel posted a video on Instagram and wrote: "
= Terrorism."
On April 23, 2024, Bel posted a video on Instagram in which she said [00:00:03] "...United States is the rectum of the world and these [Zionists] are its hemorrhoids."
On April 19, 2024, Bel posted a video on Instagram and wrote: "...#fromtherivertotheseapalestinewillbefree."
“From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be Free” is a chant used [00:02:47] to call for the elimination of the State of Israel. It has also been employed by Hamas leader Khaled Mashal to call for the replacement of Israel with an Islamic state. In April 2024, the U.S. House of Representatives passed a resolution condemning the chant as antisemitic.
On June 14, 2025, Bel posted a photo on Instagram of herself wearing a keffiyeh at a protest. She wrote: "#freepalestine...#palestinewillbefree..."
“Free Palestine” is a chant that has been described as a "battle cry for the death of Jews.” In May 2025, two Israeli diplomats in Washington, D.C., were murdered by a gunman shouting “Free Palestine!” In June 2025, one pro-Israel activist was killed and over 25 were injured in Boulder, Colorado, when a man yelling “Free Palestine” firebombed them.
On Saturday, October 7, 2023, thousands of heavily armed Hamas terrorists breached Israel’s border with Gaza. They executed numerous war crimes on civilians, including mass murder, beheadings of children, rape of men and women, torture, kidnappings and mutilation.
Hamas broadcast videos of their butchery on social media, often to victims’ accounts for families to see. Israel retaliated with a war called “Swords of Iron.”
Many Palestinian civilians, including women and children, participated in and supported the October 7, 2023, Hamas terror attacks. Gazans who worked in the targeted Israeli communities gave intelligence to Hamas on which homes to strike.
On October 7, 2023, Hamas raped both women and men. Some were raped and murdered or mutilated. Hamas terrorists said they were given explicit orders to carry out those atrocities on both live victims and corpses.
The Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement was founded by pro-terror activist Omar Barghouti in 2005 to turn “Israel into a pariah state, as South Africa once was.” Barghouti has also called for Israel's destruction and the BDS movement demands would result in that same goal.
BDS initiatives include calling on institutions and individuals to divest from Israeli-affiliated companies, promoting academic and cultural boycotts of Israel, and organizing anti-Israel rallies, protests and campaigns.
The movement’s most notable achievement has been infiltrating university campuses through lobbying for “BDS resolutions.” In these cases, student governments propose resolutions to boycott or divestment from Israel or Israeli-affiliated entities. BDS activity is often aggressive and disruptive. It has been noted that universities that pass BDS resolutions see a marked increase in anti-Semitic incidents and pro-terror activism on campus.
