The profilee's activism occurred during Israel’s war against Hamas, which Israel launched after the October 7, 2023, terror attacks when Hamas murdered nearly 1,200 Israelis, injured thousands and kidnapped hundreds.
As of April 2025, Othmane Ouhaddach's LinkedIn profile said he graduated from the Harvard Kennedy School (HKS) with a master's degree in public administration in May 2024.

They blocked Jews from campus facilities and limited access to those with special wristbands or who said they weren't a Zionist.
