Elenani has also promoted a Hamas terrorist and spread hatred of Israel on social media.Elenani has engaged in other activism with WOL, an anti-Israel activist group in New York City founded by Nerdeen Kiswani. Until February 2018, WOL was known as a chapter of Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP), using the name NYC SJP.
WOL’s “Points of Unity” states: “We defend the right of Palestinians as colonized people to resist the zionist occupation by any means necessary.”

Elenani’s Facebook also said he had been a construction field engineer at Parsons Corporation since January 15, 2018.
Parsons is reportedly a “technology-focused defense, intelligence, security, and infrastructure engineering firm” which provides “integrated solutions and services in the defense, intelligence, and critical infrastructure markets in North America, the Middle East, and internationally.”
As of July 2023, Elenani’s Facebook page said he was located in Brooklyn, New York.
May 11, 2021 - Anti-Semitism at WOL Rally
Elenani yelled [00:00:06] a series of anti-Semitic and anti-Israel chants during a WOL rally in Manhattan. On May 11, 2021, Elenani featured [00:00:06] in a YouTube video footage taken at a WOL organized rally, leading the chant: “Jaish Muhammad, sawfa ya’ud! Jaish Muhammad, sawfa ya’ud! [The army of Muhammad is returning! The army of Muhammad is returning!]”
The phrase is the second half of a chant calling for violence against Jews. Shortly after he led the chant, he also chanted [00:00:29]: “Allahu Akhbar [God is Greatest]!”
Khaybar Khaybar, ya yahud, Jaish Muhammad, soufa ya'oud [Jews, remember Khaybar, the army of Muhammad is returning]” is a chant recalling the early seventh-century Battle of Khaybar. At Khaybar, Muhammad and his followers massacred the Jews of that town and enslaved the surviving women as “wives.” The chant is often heard at anti-Israel rallies in the United States.
Elenani wore [00:00:06] a black coat, t-shirt and pants with a black and white keffiyeh draped around his neck. He held a Palestinian flag attached to a pole.
WOL held the rally during Israel’s Operation Guardian of the Walls (OGW) against terrorists in Gaza.
In May 2021, Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) terrorists fired over 4,300 rockets from Gaza at major population centers in Israel. Israel responded by launching OGW, carrying out targeted military strikes in Gaza.
At the rally, which began outside the Israeli consulate in Manhattan, Elenani joined [00:05:04] in chants of“1-2-3-4, occupation no more! 5-6-7-8, stop the killing stop the hate! Israel is a terrorist state! Israel is a terrorist state!” He also joined [00:45:44] in the chant: “Free, Free Palestine!”
Elenani also waved [00:35:12] a Palestinian flag behind Kiswani as she led the chants: “From the River to the Sea! Palestine will be Free!” and [00:35:32] “It is right to rebel! Israel go to hell!”
“From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be free” is a chant calling to dismantle the State of Israel. It has also been employed by Hamas leader Khaled Mashal to call for the replacement of Israel with an Islamic state.
Elenani featured [slide 1], as well, in multiple [slide 8] photos shared [slide 8] on social media taken at the protest with violent WOL activist Saadah Masoud. In one photo, they both stood [slide 3] at the top of a street sign.
That same day, Saadah and his brother Fade Masoud were among a group of WOL activists who attempted to attack [00:00:01] pro-Israel counterprotesters at the WOL rally outside of the Israeli consulate in Manhattan. Saadah Masoud had to be restrained [00:00:30]by police during the confrontation.
May 15, 2021 - Nakba Day WOL Rally in Brooklyn
Elenani participated in an anti-Israel rally during OGW that was organized by WOL in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn.Elenani featured in photos shared on Instagram, participating with other anti-Israel protesters at a May 15, 2021, Nakba Day protest organized by WOL in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn.
The term “Nakba” is generally translated as “catastrophe” in Arabic, referring to the outcome of the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. It is a term often used to delegitimize the creation of the State of Israel by defining it as a catastrophe.
Anti-Israel activists chanted: “Free! Free! Gaza!” and “Free free Al Aqsa!”
The allegation that Jews “threaten” to destroy the Al-Aqsa Mosque has been a pretext for Arab attacks on Jews long before the existence of the modern Jewish state. Such propaganda has led to multiple periods of violence against Israeli civilians.
Other protesters at the rally chanted: “Israel is a terrorist state!” They also chanted: “Israel is a crime!”
Promoting a Hamas Terrorist and Spreading Hatred of Israel
On May 22, 2021, Elenani posted a quote on Instagram attributed to Hamas co-founder Sheikh Ahmed Yassin. He wrote the post one day after the end of Israel’s OGW against Hamas and PIJ.Elenani wrote: “‘Resistance in Palestine will continue until the final liberation of all the Palestinian lands.’ - Sheikh Ahmed Yassin. #savesheikhjarrah #savepalestine #savegaza #alquds #freedomfighter #masjidalaqsa #palestine #freepalestine #freegaza.”
Sheikh Ahmed Yassin has been described as the “mastermind of Palestinian terror” behind many suicide bombings against Israeli civilians on buses and in cafes during the second intifada. In January 2003, Yassin said in an interview: “Suicide attacks and jihad reinforce national unity in the ranks…Our voice is one of struggle, of jihad and of suicide…”
In May 2021, Palestinian violence erupted in anticipation of an Israel High Court ruling on eviction proceedings concerning over 70 Palestinian tenants illegally residing in Jewish-owned properties in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah.
In the same May 22, 2021 Instagram post, Elenani shared a 2015 video of anti-Israel activist Janna Jihad calling Israeli soldiers “terrorists” and telling them: “I’ll stay here on my land, and you’ll go. I’ll stay here. Go! Go from my land! Go from my land! Now!”
Elenani wrote in the post: “Her words had to sink in to them @idf soldier’s little brains that have no understanding! What a brave little girl! May Allah bless her and have her witness the fall of Israel @idf [Israel Defense Forces] you’re definitely not ready for her & her generation.”
Janna Jihad Ayyad Al-Tamimi, also known as Janna Jihad, is an anti-Israel youth activist. She is a relative of Palestinian propagandist Bassem Tamimi, who is notorious for exploiting young children as political props by manufacturing confrontations with Israeli soldiers who respond to the riots that Tamimi organizes.
On July 17, 2020, Elenani posted a graphic [slide 3] with a fabricated quote attributed to Albert Einstein that read: “It would be my greatest sadness to see Zionists do to Palestinian Arabs much of what Nazis did to Jews – Albert Einstein.”
In the same July 17, 2020 Instagram post, Elenani wrote: “70+ years Israel has been fighting Palestine with all savagery & barbarity using advanced weapons and Americas financial aid against a country that has No Army No Weapons No Money& No Central Government … May all oppressed victims, heartbroken people and the ones that stand with justice witness the day Palestine returns to the muslims, AMEEN

…”WOL
Within Our Lifetime (WOL) is a pro-terror activist group in New York City dedicated to Israel’s destruction within the lifetime of its members.Acts of violence and physical confrontations with police have frequently occurred at WOL protests and marches. WOL uses harassment campaigns to target pro-Israel organizations or companies that do business with Israel, making it a part of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.
Multiple activists who have either burned Israeli flags or led chants at WOL rallies were later jailed for violent anti-Semitic hate crimes, including Saadah Masoud and Waseem Awawdeh. In Masoud’s case, he received 18 months in jail for an anti-Semitic assault at an April 2022 WOL rally and two other anti-Semitic assaults in 2021.
WOL promotes “resistance” against Israel “by any means necessary,” calls to “Globalize the Intifada,” spreads incitement and idolizes [00:34:06] Palestinian terrorists like Leila Khaled and others at rallies and online events.
WOL was founded by Nerdeen Kiswani and Dan Cione in 2015. Kiswani is a frequent speaker at WOL rallies where she has promoted terrorism against Israelis and called for the death of Zionists. She has also provided support for Masoud and other activists following their arrests.
WOL began as the New York City chapter of Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP), going by NYC SJP, but changed its name in 2018. The group is not found to be registered in any U.S. state as a nonprofit organization under its official name. Nor is there any listing for WOL under its name on the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) website for tax-exempt organizations.
