Maysoun Batley

Maysoun Batley is a “Placement Case Aid” at Jewish Family Services who blamed Israel for Hamas terrorist war crimes in October 2023.

That same month, Batley also called for a boycott of Israel, accused Israel of “genocide,” and was co-president of an anti-Israel student group that co-organized an anti-Israel protest on her campus where 56 students were reportedly arrested.

The incidents occurred following a series of Hamas terror attacks and war crimes against Israeli civilians, including mass murder, torture, rape, beheadings and kidnappings, which were carried out on October 7, 2023. The terror attacks left about 1,200 Israelis dead, hundreds kidnapped and thousands wounded.

Israel retaliated with a war called “Swords of Iron.”

Hamas has been designated as a terrorist organization by the U.S., Canada, European Union, Israel and other countries. Founded in 1987, it has killed thousands of Israeli civilians through mass shootings and suicide bombings. Hamas has also kidnapped children, families and the elderly and held them hostage in Gaza. It has desecrated [slide 7] dead bodies and launched numerous rocket attacks against Israeli civilians.

As of November 2023, Batley’s LinkedIn profile said she was studying for a bachelor’s degree in sociology at UMass Amherst, slated to graduate in 2024.

Batley’s LinkedIn also said she had worked full-time as a “Reception and Placement Case Aid” at Jewish Family Services in Springfield, Massachusetts since June 2023.
