Maria Svart

Maria Svart [Maria L. Svart] has promoted hatred of America and Israel, and she also headed the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) when it expressed support for terrorists, praised America's enemies and spread anti-Semitism.

Svart is a supporter of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.

In 2011-2024, Svart served as the national director of the DSA. She continued to act as the organization's executive director through January 2025. Svart has been a DSA member since 2001.

Svart wrote in her DSA resignation letter that she had intended to announce her departure from the organization before January 2024, but chose not to as she organized "relentlessly against the U.S. government’s support of genocide in Palestine."

Given Svart’s leadership role in the DSA, she is part of DSA’s broader anti-America and anti-Israel network, which includes 2025 New York mayoral candidate and DSA member Zohran Mamdani.

Mamdani's anti-America and far-left activist network, which includes the DSA, helped him win the 2025 Democratic Party primary. He won the general election in November 2025.

DSA's ideology includes anti-American and abolitionist elements. DSA justified Hamas murdering 1,200 Israelis on October 7, 2023. Notable members are activist Linda Sarsour and Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib.

As of August 2025, Svart was listed as the deputy executive director at Jobs to Move America (JMA).

As of the same date, Svart's LinkedIn profile said she was located in New York, New York.
