Malkah Bird
Malkah Bird is an anti-Israel activist who demonstrated support for Hamas terrorism after the October 7, 2023 attacks when Hamas murdered 1,200 Israelis and kidnapped hundreds more.
In March 2023, The Butler Collegian reported that Bird was the "community advisor" for the Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) chapter at Butler University (SJP Butler). The same report said she was a member of Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP).
As of October 2023, Indiana Public Media reported that Bird was the "chapter leader" of JVP's Indiana chapter (JVP Indiana).
As of August 2024, according to WGN9, Bird was also listed as a member of a group called "Jewish Hoosiers for a Free Palestine."
Bird is a supporter of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.
As of February 2025, Bird was a co-founder of Rising Collective, whose website said that Bird is an "educator and workshop facilitator" with "extensive experience leading trainings in schools and within the community on topics including De-Escalation, Bystander Intervention and Behavior Interventions."
It also said that Bird is "certified by the National Council on Behavioral Health as an Adult and Youth Mental Health First Aid Instructor" and a "Nationally Certified School Psychologist."
As of February 2025, Rising Collective also said that Bird was located in Indianapolis, Indiana.
