Macartney Morris participated in at least one Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) event in 2020 in New York City, organized by the city’s DSA chapter (NYC-DSA).
NYC-DSA is an anti-American and anti-Israel activist group. It celebrated the Hamas terror attacks of October 7, 2023, by holding a rally the next day.
As of October 2025, Macartney Morris’ LinkedIn profile said Morris was an executive assistant at The D. E. Shaw Group, as well as an "Organizer & advocate based in Queens [New York]."
