Lylla Younes
Lylla Younes [Layla Bazzi] has expressed support for terrorism and promoted hatred of Israel. As of May 2024, Younes had been an organizer with WAWOG, which describes itself as a “coalition of media, cultural, and academic workers who…organize against Zionism and American empire from within the imperial core.”
WAWOG was founded [00:30:10] after Hamas’s October 7, 2023 attack on Israel when terrorists murdered approximately 1,200 Israelis. One of WAWOG’s listed principles of unity was “the right to resist” in “support of the Palestinian right to armed resistance as part of the national liberation struggle.” WAWOG’s second listed principle defended the “complete dismantling of ‘Israel,’” while the last principle aimed to “build a revolutionary cultural front.”
Younes is a supporter of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.
