Lee Maresco participated in an anti-Israel event at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 2024 during Israel's war against Hamas terrorists.
As of May 2025, Lee Maresco's LinkedIn profile said Maresco had been working as a staff research associate at the University of California San Diego (UC San Diego) since October 2024.
At the time of the anti-Israel event, Lee Maresco was a research support associate at MIT, where Maresco worked from August 2023 to August 2024.
The profilee's activism occurred during Israel’s war against Hamas, which Israel launched after the October 7, 2023, terror attacks when Hamas murdered nearly 1,200 Israelis, injured thousands and kidnapped hundreds.

They blocked Jews from campus facilities and limited access to those with special wristbands or who said they weren't a Zionist.
