Kat Smith
Kat Smith [Katherine Smith] was reportedly arrested at an anti-Israel protest in Louisville, Kentucky, in February 2024, in support of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.
The profilee's activism occurred during Israel’s war against Hamas, which Israel launched after the October 7, 2023, terror attacks when Hamas murdered nearly 1,200 Israelis, injured thousands and kidnapped hundreds.
On February 2, 2024, WAVE 3 News reported that Kat Smith, who was referred to in the article as Austin Smith, was one of 15 individuals arrested and “charged with trespassing” outside the RTX and BAE Systems facilities in Louisville. Both companies are manufacturers of weapons technology.
The Louisville Ceasefire Coalition (LCC) helped organize the event. LCC was reportedly formed after October 7, 2023, to promote BDS during Israel’s war against Hamas, which has included calling for a ceasefire.
As of November 2025, Kat Smith's website said Smith was a multi-media artist. Smith's Facebook profile said Smith was located in Lexington, Kentucky.
