Jonas King
Jonas King is an anti-Israel campus activist who called for Israel’s destruction and spread hatred of Israel during a war against Hamas terrorists, in February 2024.
As of the same date, King was president of the Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) chapter at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT SJP). King is also a supporter of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.
King engaged in FIT SJP activism in the wake of Hamas terror atrocities and war crimes against Israeli civilians, including mass murder, torture, rape, beheadings and kidnappings, which were executed on October 7, 2023.
The Hamas terror attacks left over 1,200 Israelis dead, hundreds kidnapped and thousands wounded. Israel retaliated with a war called “Swords of Iron.”
Hamas has been designated as a terrorist organization by the U.S., Canada, European Union, Israel and other countries. Founded in 1987, it has killed thousands of Israeli civilians through mass shootings and suicide bombings. Hamas has also kidnapped children, families and the elderly and held them hostage in Gaza. It has desecrated [slide 7] dead bodies and launched numerous rocket attacks against Israeli civilians.
On January 29, 2024, King created a petition on Change.org for FIT SJP. King included a link to a Google doc authored by FIT SJP. King wrote above the link: “Please follow this link to view our full statement:”
As of February 14, 2024, King reportedly served as president of FIT SJP.
As of February 26, 2024, King’s LinkedIn profile said King was a designer and the owner of 2FIFTY Clothing.
Also as of February 26, 2024, King’s LinkedIn said King was a “Seamstress/Designer” at The School Of Levin.
As of the same date, King’s LinkedIn said King was an undergraduate studying fashion and apparel design at FIT, slated to graduate in 2024.
