Jenin Abel
Jenin Abel was the public relations officer of a Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) chapter that expressed support for Hamas terrorists in October 2023 during an Israeli war against Hamas. Abel has also spread hatred of Israel in her activism.
Abel was appointed [slide 6] the public relations officer of the SJP chapter at the University of Southern Florida (SJP USF) in August 2023. USF is located in Tampa, Florida.
Abel’s SJP chapter showed support for Hamas following a series of Hamas terror atrocities and war crimes against Israeli civilians, including mass murder, torture, rape, beheadings and kidnappings, which were executed on October 7, 2023.
The Hamas terror attacks left over 1,200 Israelis dead, hundreds kidnapped and thousands wounded. Israel retaliated with a war called “Swords of Iron.”
Hamas has been designated as a terrorist organization by the U.S., Canada, European Union, Israel and other countries. Founded in 1987, it has killed thousands of Israeli civilians through mass shootings and suicide bombings. Hamas has also kidnapped children, families and the elderly and held them hostage in Gaza. It has desecrated [slide 7] dead bodies and launched numerous rocket attacks against Israeli civilians.
As of February 2024, Abel’s LinkedIn said she was pursuing a bachelor’s degree in biomedical studies at USF, slated to graduate in 2024.
As of January 2024, Abel’s Twitter and Facebook pages said she was located in Tampa, Florida. However, as of the same date, Abel’s LinkedIn said she was located in Riverview, Florida, which is a suburb of Tampa.
