Hanadie Tulemat
Hanadie Tulemat has spread anti-Semitism and was treasurer of an anti-Israel group that expressed support for Hamas terrorists on October 7, 2023, the day Hamas massacred over 1,200 Israeli Jews.
Tulemat was treasurer of the Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) chapter at Loyola University Chicago (SJP LUC) in February 2024. The 2023-2024 board was announced in September 2023. LUC is located in Chicago, Illinois.
In October 2023, SJP LUC spread hatred of Israel during its war against Hamas.
In November 2023, SJP LUC promoted the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.
Tulemat’s SJP chapter showed support for Hamas on the day of its terror atrocities and war crimes against Israeli civilians, including mass murder, torture, rape, beheadings, and kidnappings, which were executed on October 7, 2023. The terror attacks left over 1,200 Israelis dead, hundreds kidnapped and thousands wounded. Israel retaliated with a war called “Swords of Iron.”
Hamas has been designated as a terrorist organization by the U.S., Canada, European Union, Israel and other countries. Founded in 1987, it has killed thousands of Israeli civilians through mass shootings and suicide bombings. Hamas has also kidnapped children, families and the elderly and held them hostage in Gaza. It has desecrated [slide 7] dead bodies and launched numerous rocket attacks against Israeli civilians.
Tulemat is a supporter of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.
As of February 2024, Tulemat listed SJP and the Muslim Student Association (MSA) on LinkedIn under her “Activities and Societies” at LUC.
As of the same date, Tulemat’s LinkedIn profile said she was studying for a bachelor's degree in Psychology at LUC, slated to graduate in 2026. However, her LinkedIn bio said: “Philosophy major- LUC pre-law.”
Also as of February 2024, Tulemat’s LinkedIn said she had worked as a Fitness Supervisor at LUC since 2023.
Tulemat retweeted a December 25, 2023 tweet that said: “Remember to BOYCOTT child murders today🔥🔥🔥.”
The tweet included a graphic of a woman sipping baby blood through a straw from a Starbucks cup, which was also filled with the bodies and skeletons of dead babies. The woman's fingernails were white with a blue Star of David on them. Text on the graphic next to her hand said: "BLOOD SIPS" in a dark red font with blood dripping from the letters.
On October 7, 2023, while Tulemat served as treasurer, SJP LUC posted a graphic on Instagram that promoted a protest the following day outside the Israeli consulate in Chicago, called: “PALESTINE RESISTS OCCUPATION.”
The Instagram post said: “...we will be holding a protest to voice our support for Palestinian resistance back home against years of occupation and apartheid!”
Anti-Israel activists use the term “resistance” to refer to violence and terror perpetrated against Israeli civilians and their allies. It is used to glorify and encourage anti-Israel and anti-Semitic violence. Anti-Israel activists chant slogans such as: “Resistance by any means necessary!” and “Resistance is justified when people are occupied!” in response to terror attacks.
The SJP LUC post promoting the October 8, 2023 rally claimed: “On October 6th, 2023, Palestinians exercised their right to resist their oppressor and their occupier…”
The post also alleged that Israel is engaged “in an ongoing project of settler colonialism.”
The post alleged: “...Palestinians have decided enough is enough. Oppressed peoples have a right, affirmed by the United Nations, to engage in resistance against their oppressor…Freedom from violence can only be achieved through resistance. Join us at the israeli consulate tomorrow to continue the ongoing fight for justice and liberation for Palestine.”
On November 2, 2023, while Tulemat served as treasurer, SJP LUC posted on Instagram a series of pro-BDS graphics that began [slide 1]: “Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is / BOYCOTT BRANDS THAT SUPPORT THE PALESTINIAN GENOCIDE.”
Another graphic referred [slide 2] to Israel as the “isr**** apartheid state” and claimed that there was an “ongoing genocide and ethnic cleansing in Palestine.”
The same graphic also said [slide 2] of BDS: “This pertains to businesses that have issued public statements in favor of isr***, provided financial support to the settler-colonies, or penalized employees/unions supporting Palestine.”
On one of the graphics, SJP LUC listed [slide 7] organizations to donate to, including The Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF) and Amnesty International (AI).
The Palestine Children's Relief Fund (PCRF) is a nonprofit organization reportedly set up “to address the medical and humanitarian crisis facing Palestinian youths in the Middle East.” It has been financially linked with the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development (HLF), which was shut down by the U.S. government for funneling donations to the Hamas terrorist organization.
Amnesty International (AI) is a non-governmental organization (NGO) that claims to combat global human rights abuses. AI is often criticized for singling out and demonizing Israel, as well as mischaracterizing the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The organization frequently releases “reports” in which it accuses Israel of apartheid and war crimes. These reports have been shown to contain multiple lies and are regularly debunked.
