Haider Tawakali
Haider Tawakali is a Chicago businessman who ripped down posters raising awareness of Israeli civilians kidnapped by Hamas terrorists and held hostage in Gaza. The November 2023 incident occurred in New York, New York.
Tawakali has also reportedly equated Israel with Nazi Germany and spread hatred of Israel on social media.
Hamas kidnapped the civilians, including women and children, during a series of terror attacks and war crimes that left over 1,200 Israelis dead, hundreds kidnapped and thousands wounded. Hamas executed the terror attacks on October 7, 2023. Their other war crimes included mass murder, torture, rape and beheadings.
Israel retaliated with a war called “Swords of Iron.”
Hamas has been designated as a terrorist organization by the U.S., Canada, European Union, Israel and other countries. Founded in 1987, it has killed thousands of Israeli civilians through mass shootings and suicide bombings. Hamas has also kidnapped children, families and the elderly and held them hostage in Gaza. It has desecrated [slide 7] dead bodies and launched numerous rocket attacks against Israeli civilians.
As of November 24, 2023, Tawakali was listed as the registered agent for BlackRock Environmental LLC and Chicago Pest Control LLC on the Illinois Secretary of State website. As of November 23, 2023, his since-deleted LinkedIn profile said he was a “Project Manager” at BlackRock Environmental.
As of November 2, 2023, the BlackRock Environmental website said it “provides mold remediation, asbestos testing and removal, and water damage restoration services to commercial and residential properties in the Chicagoland area.” However, by November 26, 2023, the company’s website was deleted.
