Gerardo Gomez

Gerardo Gomez has called for Israel's destruction, expressed support for terrorists and spread hatred of America and Israel. He was arrested and charged with "lynching" in 2010.

Gomez's anti-Israel activism took place during Israel’s war against Hamas terrorists. Israel launched the war after the October 7, 2023, terror attacks.

As of June 2025, Gomez was listed on the Western Regional Advocacy Project website as a member of their board and as a "family and youth counselor."

Gomez attended Saint Mary's College (SMC). SMC is located in Moraga, California.

In June 2025, Gomez indicated on Instagram that he was located in Los Angeles, California.

As of June 2025, Gomez went by the username and handle "@doyers42" on Instagram.

On April 28, 2025, during Israel's war against Hamas terrorists, Gomez commented in an Instagram post, referring to Hamas's October 7, 2023 terror attacks: "It's Okay to NORMALIZE THE RESISTANCE. When someone in Spanish asks me if I condemned 10/7, my response is JA MAS [Never]."

Among Palestinians and anti-Israel activists, the term “resistance” is a euphemism for nationalistic terror and is used to glorify and encourage anti-Israel and antisemitic violence.

On October 7, 2023, Hamas murdered approximately 1,200 Israelis, kidnapped hundreds and wounded thousands. War crimes included mass rape and torture. Many Palestinian civilians participated in and supported the attacks, and Gazans working in the targeted Israeli communities gave intelligence to Hamas on where to strike.

On May 26, 2025, Gomez shared on Instagram a video that expressed "true solidarity" with former Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, claiming that "the same type of racism that killed George Floyd / is being used by Israel against the Palestinians."

Yahya (Yehiya) Sinwar masterminded the October 7, 2023 terror attacks on Israel and had been a Hamas leader since the 1980s. Sinwar was nicknamed the “Butcher of Khan Younis” after he admitted to killing 12 suspected Palestinian “collaborators,” and in 1989 was sentenced to four life terms in Israeli prison for crimes including the killing of two Israeli soldiers.

In 2011, Sinwar was released by Israel to Gaza following the Gilad Shalit prisoner exchange deal and resumed his leadership role in Hamas. On October 17, 2024, the Israel Defense Forces eliminated Sinwar in Gaza.

On May 25, 2020, George Floyd, a black man, was arrested and killed by a white police officer in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

On March 9, 2025, Gomez wrote on Instagram: "My annual Leila post" and shared a photo of terrorist Leila Khaled holding a firearm with text that read: "I have learned that a woman can be a fighter, a freedom fighter...Revolution must mean life..."

Leila Khaled is a leading member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) and participated in the hijacking of TWA Flight 840 in 1969 and El Al Flight 219 in 1970. As of 2017, Khaled was a member of PFLP's Political Bureau. Khaled has said that the second intifada failed because it was not violent enough, advocated [00:36:07] for the use of children in terror activities and compared Zionists to Nazis.
