Eric Latham

Overview

Eric Latham has defended Hitler, promoted Holocaust denial and spread anti-Semitism as well as anti-Jewish conspiracy theories. Latham has also defended anti-Jewish remarks made by celebrities and promoted bigotry on social media.

Latham has self-identified as a “Hebrew Israelite,” in reference to the Black Hebrew Israelites, an African American group whose members claim to be the true descendants of the ancient biblical Hebrews.  

As of November 2020, Latham was listed as a Field Trainer at Financial Education Services (FES).

As of the same date, Latham’s Facebook page said he was a “Biblical Professor” at Sons of Thunder Israelites Bible School and was an “Itazawam Ahyash (mighty man) & Street Preacher” at House of Israel - USA - Charlotte, NC in Charlotte, North Carolina and that he lived in Grayson, Georgia.

As of November 2020, Latham’s Facebook page said he had studied Law from “2015 to 2019” at Georgia State University (GSU) and that he was a Student Assistant at GSU “from 2017 - present.”

As of November 2020, Latham went by the name “Eliel Ban-Ahla'yaha Yashar'al (Shar Eliel) on Facebook” 

Latham’s “Details About Eliel” Facebook section said he was known as “Eric Latham II” and was a “football player producer rapper singer -songwriter,” who claimed his Birth name was “Alyaal Yasharal,” and nickname was “Shar Eliel.”

As of the same date, Latham went by the name “Eliel Ban Gad-Yasharahla,” on Youtube.
Latham also went by the name Shar👑Eliel Yasharahla and used the handle shar_eliel on Instagram.

Defending Hitler

On July 20, 2020, during Latham’s co-hosted Sons Of Thunder Israelites livestream, Latham said [01:52:01]: “...The most cunning Edomite of them all, in my opinion, was Hitler. Hitler was very cunning and if he would have lived today…” 
 
Latham continued[01:52:19]: “Hitler would have made it a lot easier for us to wake up. Like if Hitler didn’t get killed in ’45 there wouldn’t have been no civil rights movement in ’65…”
 
Latham added [02:01:37]: “he [Hitler] said that he was trying to save Germany because he was afraid that if he didn’t kill these fake Jews that the God of the Bible was gonna punish Germany as He punished Egypt. So he was trying to save himself.” 
 
Latham went on to say [02:15:44] that Hitler was the “last line of defense for the Palestinians, right. Because he been the one killing all the Jewish people. Hitler’s plan was, if we can kill enough of these Crackas, they won’t be able to move into Israel, because there won’t be enough of them to go there. Right, and if they do go there, the Palestinians and the rest of the A-rabs will wipe them out.”  

On June 16, 2017, Latham wrote on Facebook: “...Below is PROOF OF HITLER TELLING YOU THE REASON FOR THE HOLOCAUST. Yes the holocaust they make sure to teach us about in school so that we think Ann Frank [sic] n her people are the real Jews. Well Hitler tells why they did this and why they sent false Jews to our land in 1948.” 

Latham continued: “They stole us from our land in the 1600's where we settled in Africa (the West side) after Rome destroyed Jerusalem around 70AD. But only stole us when they decided to make a God for themselves (AKA Jesus Christ) the excerpt below is written in a ACTUAL GERMAN BOOK By Robert Hertzstein [sic] (An actual German)ABOUT WWII AND THE NAZI'S.”  

Latham concluded the post saying: “THE BOOK IS ALSO BELOW. & THERE IS A AUDIO VERSION ONLINE FOR ANYONE THAT SPEAKS GERMAN and thinks he didnt really say this stuff. I'll post it if I need to, cos I do have it as well. This also shows you the American Education system ain't about nun, cos they lied to you bout Hitler and the Jews.”

Latham’s post featured photos of supposed quotes ascribed to Hitler, alleged to have been found in the book, The Nazis World War II by the late American historian, Robert Edwin Herzstein.

The excerpt Latham referred to was the purported quote by Hitler, which, as Snopes clarified, appeared nowhere in Herzstein’s book.

On June 14, 2017, Latham wrote in a Facebook comment: “...Hitler knew who the real Jews are, he said it to his soldiers n started the holocaust cos he knew his people were posing as us n its a sin against god. Check revelation 2:9 bro lol…”

Holocaust Denial 

On July 20, 2020, during a Sons Of Thunder Israelites Youtube livestream, Latham said [01:36:26]: “The only tribulation that the so-called Jew-ISH man, well not the so-called, the Jew-ISH man, right, the only tribulation that they went through would be the Holocaust - the Holahoax.” 

“Holohoax” is a term used by Holocaust deniers to claim that the Holocaust is a hoax that did not happen. 

Latham went on to mock education about the Holocaust and the diaried experience of Anne Frank, a young Jewish girl who died in the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp, saying [01:37:33]: “ cuz ya know that’s where this whole Holocaust thing came from, right? That Ann Frahnk. That’s what it’s from. That’s the book that they make you read, Every single kid in the United States education system has to read that book at some point in school and learn about the Holocaust; learn about Hitler was a bad guy, right?” 

Latham, later went on to say [01:38:12]: “You know why he [Hitler] said he was putting them [the Jews] in heat chambers? He said ‘you N**gers wanna be N**gers?... Fire ‘em up. He put ‘em in the gas chamber and let ‘em scream to death until they turned black, ‘cause he’s like ‘y’all wanna be black then let’s make you black…” 

Anti-Semitism

On July 26, 2020, Latham shared a link on Facebook to a charity appeal by Jewish Voice, a Messianic evangelical group that aims to proclaim the Christian Gospel to Jews primarily, to grow the Jewish Messianic community and to find and assist Jews from the “Lost Tribes” with the ultimate goal of converting them to Christianity.

The Jewish Voice charity appeal solicited donations to “Deliver the Good News of Yeshua (Jesus) around the world” and “Provide medical assistance to Jewish people and their neighbors in need.” Jewish Voice also runs clean water initiatives and sides with Israel under attack from terror groups.

Latham commented on Facebook: “How are these ‘God's People’ if they under attack??? Should be no war when the real People of God are in their land..... God would be making sure HIS PEOPLE had clean water.....WHAT MORE PROOF DO YOU NEED THAT THESE CRACKAS ARE FRUADS [sic]?? ”

On July 20, 2020, during a Sons Of Thunder Israelites Youtube livestream, Latham said [00:45:13]: “We know that the white man is the Devil the Bible speaks of and that he’s a deceiver, he’s been deceiving you by making you think that he’s a Jew, which is literally in the Bible in Revelations 2:09 and 3:09. When we say that, it’s not something out of hate. It’s a fact!”
 
Latham continued [00:46:26]: “They [Jews] go from the womb speaking lies…You know what I’m saying... ‘Our fathers are converts. My mother is Ashkenazi blood and my father is Sephardic.’ Let me tell you something about that, right. Ashkenazi are fake Jews. Ashkenaz, himself is a son of Japheth.”
 
Ashkenazi Jewry originated from an ancient Jewish community in the Middle East, whose descendants settled in Europe.

Latham went on to say [00:53:43]: “...Even the Jewish man, he can’t even call himself an Ashkenaz Jew, ‘cause that’s even a term he stole from us. Right, he can’t call himself a Jew, period, because that’s an identity he stoled [sic] from us.”

Latham added [01:06:07]: “The real Sephardic Jews, how the real Sephardi’s as they call them, were our people, they were so-called Negroes, right. And that this whole custom, during the renaissance era, at the very beginning of it, we were kicked into Africa, right, the Sephardi’s. And their identities were literally stolen by the Jew-ISH man… Or Esau, at the time.”

The biblical figure Esau, in the book of Genesis is the ancestor of the Biblical Edomites. In Jewish tradition, Edom came to be identified with the Roman empire and later extended to European and Western civilization, in general. 

Latham then claimed [01:06:51]: “Jew-ISH people basically stole the... religion from the Sephardi’s and that’s where they got the concept of wearing all black from. Because they learned that the Jews were black people from the Sephard’s, right.” 

During the livestream, Latham used [00:15:46] the screen name “Shar Alya’al HATES JewISH People.”

On July 16, 2020, Latham wrote on Facebook: “Couldn't have said it better myself.... the ’White Men’ ESAU & AMALEK are the DEVIL (Deciever) [sic] THE BIBLE SPEAKS OF…”
 
Latham continued: “SO CALLED ‘BLACKS,’ ‘HISPANICS,’ AND ‘NATIVE AMERICANS’ ARE THE ISRAELITES & JEWS THE BIBLE SPEAKS OF!!!!”
 
Latham’s comment was responding to another Facebook post that read: “Amalek. The admitted ‘Jewish convert, who will literally tell you his people converted to Judaism… Is angry because the so called black man says he is the REAL Jew. It’s ‘anti semetic” to refer to yourself as a real Jew, yet the people who claim to be real Jews are in fact converts and not real Jews…”
 
The post continued: “...Do you see the hypocrisy of the so called Khazarian? I’m tired of this place man. It’s just vanity and vexation of the spirit. The Kingdom is better than this.”

 
On July 14, 2020, Latham wrote in a Facebook comment: “The so called ‘white man’ had taken our book since slavery n gave us a false identity (Black, afro anerican, Trini, Dominican, etc) so they could steal ours (JEW(ISH)). Im giving your your History back, if you want it. This isnt religion...” 

Latham continued: “...They stole our s**t n made religion out of it so we woukdnt [sic] find out who we really are. Once 1/3 of us wake up the world ends n jesus comes back to kill crakas n the other nations n put them in slavery under the israelites FOREVER. This is what the bible is about.”

On June 26, 2017, Latham shared a graphic on Facebook with a quote ascribed to former Egyptian President, Gamal Abdel Nasser, that read: “The Jews will never be able to live here in peace, because they left here black but came back white..”

Anti-Jewish Conspiracy Theories

On July 20, 2020, Latham co-hosted a Sons Of Thunder Israelites livestream on Youtube, titled: “Milk Monday: Who Are The Real Israelites, Negros (Black & Hispanic) or The JewISH People?”
 
Latham opened by saying [00:13:30]: “This lesson is gonna be about the Jew-ISH man right, and the Balfour Declaration and the proof that they’re the Khazars...”
 
Latham claimed [00:21:51] that the Balfour declaration was the “document that they [Jewish people] used to put themselves in Israel in 1948. Which was the document that Hitler himself was trying to stop them from putting into action, which was the document that started WW2…” 

The Balfour Declaration was a commitment made by Great Britain in 1917 to establish a Jewish national home in Palestine.

Latham continued [00:22:05]: “...The whole WW2, for those of you that don’t know, wasn’t about them fighting for jobs and all this other crap, tryna stop Hitler from world domination or Stalin. It wasn't none of that crap, right… What it was about was Hitler finding out he wasn’t a Jew, right, and that the real Jews were the Negroes and wanting to do something to the fake Jews about it.”

Latham’s comment referred to the claim that Hitler said African Americans were the real Jews, a hoax which was exposed by the fact-checking website, Snopes.com.

A 2015 version of the hoax, published on the website FMLGoneViral.com, claimed that Hitler once said: “America has stolen the jews. The Jews of God. His jewelry. The negros. They are the true hebrews...”

In the July 20, 2020 Sons Of Thunder Israelites livestream, Latham went on to say [00:22:28]: “... And Britain, already having a plan in 1917 to move these fake Jews to Israel and Britain getting the United States’ help in President Truman at the time, to help them kill Hitler, join WW2 and bring those fake Jews over into America. Which is why Hitler said what he said about America being blackmailed by the Jews because he knew he would have won the war if America never would have got involved,it because it didn’t involve them in the first place.”
