Denis Zyalik [Denis Mikhaylovich Zyalik] was arrested for spray painting graffiti glorifying Nazis at Arizona State University (ASU) in 2023.
Zyalik has also denied the Holocaust and spread antisemitism.

On September 27, 2023, ASU's State Press reported that Zyalik, a law student at the time, was arrested that evening for painting antisemitic graffiti at ASU's Downtown Phoenix campus.
State Press reported that a Nazi swastika and the white supremacist symbol 1488 were painted on a sign promoting a photo exhibition, outside the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication.
“1488” is a common neo-Nazi phrase. The “14” stands for the “14 Words,” a term created by white supremacist David Lane, meaning: “We must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children." The “88” is code for “Heil Hitler,” since “H” is the eighth letter of the alphabet.
According to FOX10 Phoenix, campus police reported that Zyalik admitted to spray painting the graffiti and was charged with "aggravated criminal damage."
On May 18, 2026, Zyalik was featured in a photo posted on Reddit, holding a sign that said: "The Holocaust is a LIE." The post said he was in downtown Olympia, Washington.
On May 15, 2026, Zyalik was featured in a photo posted on Facebook, holding a sign that said: "The Holocaust is a LIE." The post said Zyalik held the sign at Evergreen State College (Evergreen).
Also on May 15, 2026, Zyalik was featured in a photo posted on Instagram holding a sign that said: "THE HOLOCAUST IS CAP Bruh. German corpse factory."
Cap is slang for a lie or exaggeration. The post said Zyalik had harassed students at Evergreen and people in downtown Olympia, Washington.
On May 1, 2026, Zyalik was featured in a photo posted on Instagram at UW, holding signs that said: "Abolish Jewishness" and "HOLOCAUST IS CAP Bruh."
