As of March 2026, Daniela Rios's LinkedIn said she was studying for a bachelor's degree in political science at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), slated to graduate in 2026. She also listed herself as a pre-law student with a "Focus on Immigration Law & Policy." At the time of the 2024 event, she was an undergraduate student at De Anza College (De Anza), which is located in Cupertino, California.
Also as of March 2026, Daniela Rios's LinkedIn said she had been the "Immigration Director" at LULAC de UCLA, a branch of the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), since April 2025.
