Boris Santos participated in multiple Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) events in 2018-2020 in New York City, organized by the city’s DSA chapter (NYC-DSA).
NYC-DSA is an anti-American and anti-Israel activist group. It celebrated the Hamas terror attacks of October 7, 2023, by holding a rally the next day.
In September 2019, the Brooklyn Daily Eagle reported that Boris Santos was a "longtime" member of the DSA. In December 2019, the City and State New York website reported that the DSA endorsed Boris Santos' campaign for the New York State Assembly.
As of September 2025, Boris Santos' LinkedIn profile said he was a special education teacher in the New York City Department Education. His LinkedIn said he was located in Brooklyn, New York.
