Allan Frasheri
Allan Frasheri [Allan Hektor Frasheri] was reportedly arrested at the anti-Israel encampment at the University of Florida (UF) in April 2024 as an activist with the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA). He was charged with felony battery on a law enforcement officer.
The profilee's activism occurred during Israel’s war against Hamas, which Israel launched after the October 7, 2023, terror attacks when Hamas murdered nearly 1,200 Israelis, injured thousands and kidnapped hundreds.
The encampment was part of a national movement on college campuses in 2024, during Israel’s war against Hamas. The encampments were also in support of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.
Allan Frasheri has also promoted hatred of America, expressed support for communism and spread hatred of Israel on social media.
As of August 2025, Frasheri was listed on socialistcall.com as a DSA activist. The DSA has expressed support for terrorism, praised America's enemies and spread antisemitism. He was active with the DSA as early as 2022 and is a supporter of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.
Frasheri expressed support for 2025 New York City mayoral candidate and DSA member Zohran Mamdani.
Mamdani's anti-America and far-left activist network, which includes the DSA, helped him win the 2025 Democratic Party primary. He won the general election in November 2025.
DSA's ideology includes anti-American and abolitionist elements. DSA justified Hamas murdering 1,200 Israelis on October 7, 2023. Notable members are activist Linda Sarsour and Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib.
As of August 2025, Frasheri was reportedly a member of the DSA chapter in New York, New York (NYC DSA).
On April 29, 2024, WUSF reported that Frasheri was arrested at the anti-Israel encampment at UF. The protest was co-organized by the Young Democratic Socialists of America (YDSA) chapter at the university.
On April 30, 2024, the Alachua Chronicle reported that Frasheri "allegedly walked up to a UFPD officer and spit on her arm." He was arrested and "charged with battery on a law enforcement officer, a felony."
On April 30, 2024, the Alachua Chronicle reported that nine protesters were arrested at the UF anti-Israel solidarity encampment. The charges ranged from battery on a law enforcement officer to trespassing. Most individuals were charged with “failure to obey a police officer, resisting an officer without violence, and wearing a hood or mask on public property.” Some of those arrested were later suspended from UF and banned from campus for three years as a result of their arrest.
During the encampment, protesters chanted [00:00:03]: “From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be free!”, a chant used [00:02:52] to call for the elimination of the State of Israel.
Protesters also chanted [00:01:06] against the UF Police Department (UFPD): “IDF [Israel Defense Forces], KKK, UFPD: all the same!” They further mocked [00:00:28] UFPD officers, referring [00:00:09] to them as "pigs."
The Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) chapter at the University of Florida (UF SJP), as well as the Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) chapter at UF (UF JVP), helped organize the encampment, which was also in support of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.
On May 1, 2024, FOX 35 Orlando reported that despite UF administrators and the school’s police department warning protesters multiple times during the encampment regarding permissible and forbidden behavior, those arrested [slides 1-3] were found to have violated university rules. According to university regulations, “…speech, expressing viewpoints and holding signs in hands are allowed on campus, while camping, putting up structures, disrupting academic activity or threatening others on campus is not.”
On September 29, 2024, Frasheri posted on X: "I also remember one of the guys fist bumped me and said 'f**k yeah' when I told him I was arrested a Palestine protest. That was awesome."
As of October 2025, Frasheri was reportedly suspended by UF for four years and banned from campus for three years following his arrest. UF is located in Gainesville, Florida.

On September 10, 2025, Fresheri posted on X: "No way that the White House is posting an AI generated video to announce the end of US democracy." His post was in response to a video posted on X by U.S. president Donald Trump delivering remarks on the murder of Charlie Kirk.
Charlie Kirk was a conservative activist and entrepreneur who was fatally shot at Utah Valley University on September 10, 2025. One of the messages written on the bullet casing used to assassinate Kirk read: "Hey, fascist. Catch!"
On October 13, 2025, Frasheri posted on X: "How is it that these people never stop to investigate why so many activists across so many different continents and periods were influenced by Marx? Are they not a bit curious what makes Marx stand out from the plenty of socialists thinkers before and after him?"

On June 13, 2025, Israel attacked Iran's nuclear facilities after Israeli intelligence stated Iran was "within 15 days" of creating a nuclear bomb.
Israel conducted over 1,500 airstrikes in 12 days, destroying or damaging Iran's nuclear, military and ballistic missile infrastructure. Israel eliminated 11 nuclear scientists, over 30 senior military commanders and hundreds of IRGC members. The war was officially called "Operation Rising Lion."
Iran retaliated with 1,600 missiles and drones, of which Israel intercepted over 95 percent. Iran targeted military sites, civilian apartment buildings and a hospital. 28 Israelis were killed and 3,343 injured.
On June 22, 2025, the U.S. bombed five Iranian nuclear sites with bunker-buster bombs and cruise missiles, then brokered a June 24, 2025 ceasefire.

On October 9, 2023, two days after Hamas terrorists attacked Israel and while Frasheri was a DSA member, the group posted on Instagram a statement that said [slide 1]: "DSA is steadfast in expressing our solidarity with Palestine. / Today’s events are a direct result of Israel’s apartheid regime—a regime that receives billions in funding from the United States. / End the violence. End the Occupation. Free Palestine."
On October 7, 2023, Hamas murdered approximately 1,200 Israelis, kidnapped hundreds and wounded thousands. War crimes included mass rape and torture. Many Palestinian civilians participated in and supported the attacks, and Gazans working in the targeted Israeli communities gave intelligence to Hamas on where to strike.

“Free Palestine” is a chant that has been described as a "battle cry for the death of Jews.” In May 2025, two Israeli diplomats in Washington, D.C., were murdered by a gunman shouting “Free Palestine!” In June 2025, one pro-Israel activist was killed and over 25 were injured in Boulder, Colorado, when a man yelling “Free Palestine” firebombed them.
The statement further read [slide 2], referring to Hamas' October 7, 2023 terror attack: "...This was not unprovoked. / For over 60 years, Palestinians have faced ethnic cleansing, torture, bombings, and housing demolitions. Gaza is still under a blockade."
Israel and Egypt implemented a UN-approved [pp. 39–41] joint blockade of the Gaza Strip in 2011 to stop Hamas from acquiring more sophisticated rockets. Hamas went around the blockade by smuggling weaponry through tunnels under the Philadelphi corridor separating Gaza from Egypt.
On November 2, 2024, while Frasheri was a DSA member, the group posted on X: "Cuba’s resilience is legendary, but the U.S. blockade’s toll is relentless...Join our campaign to stand with Cuba..."

Following the outbreak of Israel’s 2023 war against Hamas, Houthi terrorists attacked commercial ships off Yemen’s Red Sea coast and launched missiles into southern Israel. Like Hamas, the Houthi movement is backed by Iran, and is designated as a terror group by the United States, Saudi Arabia and other countries.
The Houthi slogan reads: “God is the Greatest / Death to America / Death to Israel / A Curse Upon the Jews / Victory to Islam.”
On March 11, 2024, while Frasheri was a DSA member, the group posted on X: "'For decades, the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) has been a hawkish, warmongering, and bullying force in U.S. politics.'"
The stated mission of AIPAC is to “strengthen, protect and promote the U.S.-Israel relationship in ways that enhance the security of the United States and Israel.”
The implication that AIPAC buys political support for Israel has been described as playing into “anti-Semitic tropes” that led to “centuries of stereotypes about Jews using money to control the world.”
As of August 2025, Frasheri was listed as a member of NYC-DSA and of DSA's Bread & Roses Caucus. As of December 2024, Frasheri was also listed as a member of Alachua County DSA.

There were over 200 pro-Hamas and anti-Israel college encampments set up in North America, and over 20 more globally, in the spring of 2024. The first began on April 17, 2024, at Columbia University. The encampments were unofficially known as the “student intifada,” borrowing a term associated with terrorist violence.
Protesters harassed Jewish students, blocked Jews from campus facilities and shouted anti-Semitic slogans. They occupied campus grounds, in many cases illegally, caused property damage, violently took over buildings, celebrated terrorism and promoted the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.
Activists set up encampments to oppose Israel’s right to wage war against the Hamas terror group following October 7, 2023, when Hamas murdered approximately 1,200 people, including 32 American and 8 Canadian citizens. Hamas also kidnapped 252 people, including 11 Americans and the bodies of 2 murdered Canadians.
Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) is America’s largest socialist organization. Its core ideology includes anti-American, anti-Israel, anti-Western and abolitionist elements.
Following the October 7, 2023, Hamas terror attacks against Israel, DSA condemned Israel, expressed support for Hamas, endorsed anti-Israel rallies and called for members to engage in anti-Israel activism. It condemned Israeli retaliatory attacks against the IRGC and Hezbollah, as well as the U.S. attacks against the Houthi terror organization, whose slogan reads: "...Death to America / Death to Israel / A Curse upon the Jews...”
DSA first endorsed the anti-Israel Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement in 2017 and it has also condemned sanctions against countries like Iran and Cuba.
The group endorses far-left politicians on the local, state and federal levels. DSA also promotes anti-Israel agitators, including DSA members Rashida Tlaib, Zohran Mamdani and Linda Sarsour.
Young Democratic Socialists of America (YDSA), DSA’s youth section active in high schools and colleges, has co-organized anti-Israel protests across the U.S. since October 7, 2023, particularly the April 2024 pro-terror encampments on university campuses.
SJP is a student organization engaged in anti-Israel activity on North American college and university campuses.
The first chapter of SJP was founded in 2001 at the University of California at Berkeley by Professor Hatem Bazian. Bazian has spread classic anti-Semitism, reportedly promoted religious anti-Semitism and defended the Hamas terror group. In 2004, Bazian called for “intifada” in America.
SJP organizes anti-Israel campaigns, including running annual Israel Apartheid Weeks, often in collaboration with Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) and Muslim Student Association (MSA) campus chapters.
SJP has been a major force in pushing the anti-Semitic Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement on campuses. Chapters have initiated dozens of BDS resolutions in student governments, which have been proposed on or around Jewish holidays, a time when many Jewish students are off-campus.
SJP activists have reportedly physically assaulted, intimidated and harassed Jewish students, disrupted pro-Israel campus events and demonized pro-Israel campus organizations.
Chapters have often endorsed and campaigned for numerous terrorists and whitewashed terrorism.
The Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement was founded by pro-terror activist Omar Barghouti in 2005 to turn “Israel into a pariah state, as South Africa once was.” Barghouti has also called for Israel's destruction and the BDS movement demands would result in that same goal.
BDS initiatives include calling on institutions and individuals to divest from Israeli-affiliated companies, promoting academic and cultural boycotts of Israel, and organizing anti-Israel rallies, protests and campaigns.
The movement’s most notable achievement has been infiltrating university campuses through lobbying for “BDS resolutions.” In these cases, student governments propose resolutions to boycott or divestment from Israel or Israeli-affiliated entities. BDS activity is often aggressive and disruptive. It has been noted that universities that pass BDS resolutions see a marked increase in anti-Semitic incidents and pro-terror activism on campus.
