Ali Zambri participated in at least one anti-Israel event at San Jose State University (SJSU) in May 2024.
The profilee's activism occurred during Israel’s war against Hamas, which Israel launched after the October 7, 2023, terror attacks when Hamas murdered nearly 1,200 Israelis, injured thousands and kidnapped hundreds.
As of June 2025, Ali Zambri’s LinkedIn profile said he had been a part-time salesperson at Central Computers, located in Sunnyvale, California, since March 2021. His LinkedIn said he received a bachelor's degree in management information systems from SJSU in May 2025.

The event was in support of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement. The outcome of the movement's goals would result in Israel's destruction. Within hours of the October 7, 2023, terror attacks, the BDS movement renewed its call for an anti-Israel boycott.
