Albany Patriawan participated in an anti-Israel event at San Jose State University (SJSU) in May 2024, during Israel's war against Hamas terrorists.
As of June 2025, Albany Patriawan’s LinkedIn said he had been a junior software developer at Leidos, headquartered in Reston, Virginia, since May 2025. His Facebook page said he was located in Manassas, Virginia. At the time of the anti-Israel event, Albany Patriawan was studying for a bachelor's degree in software engineering at SJSU, graduating in May 2024.
The profilee's activism occurred during Israel’s war against Hamas, which Israel launched after the October 7, 2023, terror attacks when Hamas murdered nearly 1,200 Israelis, injured thousands and kidnapped hundreds.
