AjiFanta Marenah spread hatred of Israel on social media in late 2023. Marenah is a supporter of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.
The profilee's statements were made during an extended period of global antisemitism that began with the October 7, 2023, terror attacks, when Hamas murdered nearly 1,200 Israelis, injured thousands and kidnapped hundreds. Israel immediately launched a war against Hamas.
As of January 2026, Marenah was listed as a member of the transition team for New York City mayor Zohran Mamdani, serving on the community organizing Committee.
Mamdani has called for dismantling capitalism and promoted hatred of the police. He has also justified Hamas terrorism and glorified terror supporters. On his first day as mayor, he revoked executive orders designed to combat antisemitism, including increased police protection at synagogues, and nullified a ban on city officials to boycott Israel.
As of January 2026, Marenah was listed on Facebook as the president of The Muslim Democratic Club of New York (MDCNY).
As of the same date, Marenah was affiliated with the New York City chapter of the anti-Israel group Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), known as CAIR-NY.
Also as of January 2026, Marenah's personal website said she was the founder and lead consultant at Dangdang Consulting.
