Far Right Support For Ilhan Omar

Lurking inside our data, and unreleased in the report, was something we couldn’t quite understand. A whopping 14 of the 38 far-right characters we exposed, show support for Congresswoman Ilhan Omar. Even 1 would be a surprise but 14 - that's a pattern we could not ignore...
1. David Duke
On March 7, 2019, Duke shared a radio show on his website titled: “Ilhan Omar and the potential for building partial coalitions: The Slattery-Applebag Financial Report.”
Duke wrote in the show description: “Patrick Slattery and Filbert Applebag talk about how we need to support Ilhan Omar on her confrontation with AIPAC. She may have strange ideas about other things, but we need to give credit where credit is due, and support people when they are fighting the good fight. We need to be able to build ‘partial coalitions’ on single issues with people whom we may oppose on other issues.”
On March 7, 2019, Duke hosted a radio show titled: “Dr Duke & Eric Striker: By Defiance to Z.O.G. Ilhan Omar is NOW the most important Member of the US Congress!” Duke promoted the show on his site, noting: “In particular, they heaped praise on Ilhan Omar (D-New Somalia) for being the one person in Congress willing to notice AIPAC and the ‘dual’ loyalty of many (((members of Congress))).”
On February 28, 2019, Duke tweeted: “Omar is right... about … Israel. First.” He embedded a tweet that said: “.@IlhanMN @Ilhan Ilhan Omar Accuses Pro-Israel Americans of ‘Allegiance to a Foreign Country‘ | Breitbart http://bit.ly/2EjJg0W via @BreitbartNews.”
On February 12, 2019, Duke tweeted a variation of a 2012 Omar tweet, for which she had received criticism. Duke wrote: “Israel has hypnotized the world, may God awaken the people and help them see the evil doings of Israel.”
2. Mike Mazzone
On July 18, 2019, a tweet from Mazzone stated: “perhaps sentiments that @Ilhan has regarding jews becomes as american as apple pie soon.”
3. Adam Green
On August 16, 2019, Green tweeted: “@IlhanMN and @RashidaTlaib are great at getting the zionist agents to out themselves as traitors.”
On March 1, 2019, Green tweeted: “@IlhanMN is the only person in congress brave enough to call out the Zionists!!!!!”
On February 12, 2019, Green tweeted: “#standwithilhan @IlhanMN AIPAC should register as a foreign lobby. Zionism has taken over the USA.”
4. Ryan Dawson
On February 14, 2019, Dawson shared a video on Youtube where he showed [00:00:33] footage of Ilhan Omar attacking [00:01:19] U.S diplomat Elliot Abrams during a House Foreign Affairs Committee hearing on February 13, 2019.
Dawson commented on the incident saying [00:05:43]: “He’s a criminal and he supports war crimes and he supports the Zionist state and he’s loyal to a foreign government. And all that ought to come out. And props to Congresswoman Omar for doing her best and I support her in those efforts.”
On February 11, 2019, Dawson tweeted: In trying to smear Ilhan Omar, with the typical weapon of antisemitism, the Zionists have forced more conversation about AIPAC for main stream eyes than I have ever seen. Way to over play your hand! The public knows about the lobby more than ever now!”
5. Nick FuentesOn March 3, 2019, Fuentes tweeted: “This is absolutely true. Thank you Ilhan Omar for saying this at a time when no other politician has the courage or integrity to stand up for America against the Israel Lobby.”
Fuentes added: “Omar is probably saying this for the wrong reasons and is still radical left. Doesn’t matter. She’s the only one naming the Israel Lobby and that is worthy of respect and support in itself. She’ll get destroyed by ‘them’ for this.”
6. Angelo John Gage
On March 7, 2019, Gage tweeted: “I keep hearing how it's anti American to criticize Israel, as if our founding fathers were rabbis. What's anti American is shilling for a foreign country; regardless of who you are and which country you shill for. #AmericaFirst #IlhanOmar.”
Gage’s tweet referred to a March 1, 2019 event where Omar suggested that supporters of Israel were disloyal to America, saying [00:00:42]: “I want to talk about the political influence in this country that says it is OK for people to push for allegiance to a foreign country.”
On March 6, 2019, Gage tweeted: “Lol. Meanwhile everyone is b**ching about how #IlhanOmar pointed this out. This is treason and cucking to the highest order. America is crumbling while Israel is expanding thanks to our treacherous politicians. #aipac.”
On February 12, 2019, Gage tweeted: “I find it ironic, the very people who want #Omar removed, are silent when Palestinian children are shot...Such people are subhuman animals; so tribal they do not have any concept of justice nor are they able to recognize their hypocrisy.”
On February 11, 2019, Gage tweeted: “So sick of these so-called #AmericaFirst Americans cucking for another country. @cynthiamckinney #IlhanOmar #AIPAC.”
The tweet featured a video where Gage said [00:00:36]: “Ilhan Omar makes a point. She talks about Israel. All I see now are American citizens complaining about this. WHY THE F**K DOES AN AMERICAN HAVE TO SUPPORT ISRAEL? WHY? WHAT IS SO SPECIAL ABOUT ISRAEL? What's so special? It’s another country, it has nothing to do with the United States of America. Can you name any benefits that this country has given us? ZERO!”
Gage concluded [00:02:11]: “I don’t agree with Omar’s other things, but when she calls out Israel and all this other s**t it’s not anti-Semitic!”
That same day, Gage tweeted: “I've never seen so many so-called #AmericaFirst people cuck as hard as today; proving the exact points this woman made about the influence of said groups lol.#jews #AIPAC #IlhanOmar.”
Also on February 11, 2019, Gage tweeted: “You can burn the American flag but it's illegal to boycott Israel...no way our congress is bought lol...#IlhanOmar #AIPAC.”
7. Eric Striker
On August 19, 2019, Striker tweeted: “Ilhan Omar doing more for America than almost all of the GOP. Get the Zionist ball and chain off our nation's neck! That's not really praise for Omar as much as it is an indictment of the disgusting Grifting Old Phonies.”
On March 7, 2019, David Duke shared a podcast of his radio show that day which featured Striker. It was titled: “Dr Duke & Eric Striker: By Defiance to Z.O.G. [Zionist Occupation Government] Ilhan Omar is NOW the most important Member of the US Congress. The podcast description said that Striker and Duke “heaped praise on Ilhan Omar (D-New Somalia) for being the one person in Congress willing to notice AIPAC [The American Israel Public Affairs Committee] and the ‘dual’ loyalty of many (((members of Congress))).”
8. Mike Peinovich
On July 16, 2019, Peinovich tweeted: “Conservatives don’t fear being called racist by the left. They fear getting their money cut off by Jews. They will suddenly get a pair of balls and not care about racism when it comes to attacking Ilhan Omar. Racism in limited form against enemies of Israel is allowed.”
9. James Fry
On February 13, 2019, Fry tweeted: “Elliot Abrams is absolute AIPAC filth. Ilhan Omar brings him to heal. Inquisition now...! #SupportPalestineindc2019 #Aipac2019.”
Fry’s tweet was in response to a tweet that included a video that featured Ilhan Omar attacking [00:00:40] U.S diplomat Elliot Abrams during a House Foreign Affairs Committee hearing on February 13, 2019.
On March 2, 2019, Fry tweeted: “The people who ‘attacked’ Ilhan are jews. Learn their tactics Muslim Matters, and stop taking their bait.”
On March 5, 2019, Fry tweeted: “If you want to support Rep. Ilhan Omar (@IlhanMN), come out to Al-Awda’s National Rally to Support Palestine & Protest AIPAC on Sunday March 24 (12PM) @ The White House before we march to #AIPAC Convention! Join Free Palestine!#SupportPalestineInDC2019…”
The tweet linked to the Facebook event page for #SupportPalestineInDC2019 (Official) on March 24, 2019, a protest against the American Israel Public Affairs Committee’s (AIPAC) annual conference in Washington D.C. The protest was organized by Abbas Hamideh and his organization, Al-Awda — the Palestinian Right to Return Coalition.
In March 2019, Fry tweeted the #SupportPalestineinDC2019 hashtag several times in order to promote the Al-Awda rally.
10 & 11. Andrew Anglin and Lee Rogers
On May 15, 2019, Anglin co-authored a Daily Stormer article with Rogers, titled: “Rashida Tlaib Angers Jews and Israel First Republicans with Holocaust Comments.”
The authors claimed: “But what’s happening to Tlaib is not all that much different than what previously went on with Ilhan Omar. She merely said that a pro-Israel lobby group with lots of influence over American politics called AIPAC exists. Even though this is a true statement, she was blasted everywhere as an anti-Semitic hater of Jews for stating this simple fact.”
12 & 13. Jesse Dunstan and Alex McNabb
On February 13, 2019, Dunstan along with McNabb and Mike Peinovich appeared in an episode of The Daily Shoah. During a lengthy and rambling discussion [00:55:10] about anti-Semitism, they refused to endorse Ilhan Omar personally because she is "Somalian," but agreed with and defended Omar's anti-Semitic remarks about the Israel Lobby.
