SJP FSU Officers and Activists
| Yasmin Shahin has glorified terrorism on social media and was an activist with Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) at FSU.
On October 3, 2015, a Twitter user outed Shahin for glorifying a terrorist, tweeting: “Sick. Florida woman Yasmin Shahin calls todays [sic] cold blooded murderer a ‘hero’.”

Yousef Mohamed has mocked the Holocaust and spread anti-Semitism and Israel-hatred on social media. Mohamed was an activist with Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) at FSU. On October 27, 2013, Mohamed tweeted: “Where do black Jews sit? Wait for it...IN THE BACK OF THE OVEN.” As of February 1, 2018, Mohamed’s personal Facebook page indicated that he was a student at FSU, slated to graduate in 2019. | Hadeel Eldeek has defended terrorists, spread anti-Jewish conspiracy theories and demonized Israel as an activist with Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) at FSU from 2015-2017.
On August 29, 2016, Eldeek posted to Facebook a stock photo of two bedouin, one with a rifle, adding: “It's funny how they call us terrorists but we're just defending our land from their terrorist colonial invasion.💁🏽 #palestine #byanymeansnecessary.” As of March 18, 2018, Eldeek’s Facebook said she “studies” at FSU, and her Instagram listed her as an “International lawyer to be.”

Albert Kishek has expressed support for the “intifada,” glorified Hezbollah and demonized Israel. He was the 2017 secretary and treasurer of Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) at FSU and FSU SJP co-president in November 2015. On November 7, 2017, Kishek tweeted support for the terror group Hezbollah, writing: “long live lebanon. long live hzballah. down with saudi. down with zion. down with american imperialism.”
As of October 24, 2017, Kishek’s LinkedIn page said he was studying Biophysics at FSU, attending from 2013-2017.

| Reem Zaitoon threatened that she would “f**k up a Zionist,” called for “death to the United States” and demonized Israel as an activist for Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP).
On November 5, 2016, Zaitoon tweeted from the NSJP 2016 conference: “Announcer at NSJP: There's police here for our safety bc there are people who are upset & angry that we are here Me: I'll f**k up a Zionist.” As of March 2018, Zaitoon’s Facebook page said she studies International Affairs, Anthropology and Spanish at FSU.

| Tyler Crown has defended violent anti-Israel agitators, shared support for terrorists and demonized Israel. He was the co-president of Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) at FSU for 2016-2017.
On November 24, 2014, Crown tweeted: “I'm very tempted to generalize those ‘for Israel’ as racists given that it's essentially an apartheid state--worse, even.” As of February 6, 2017, Crown was reportedly a junior at FSU, majoring in Political Science and Editing, Writing and Media.

Zachary Schultz has expressed support for terrorism, demonized Israel and Zionism and worked closely with Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) to defend the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement at FSU. As of March 29, 2018 Schultz’s Twitter cover photo featured a banner that read: “All day I dream about socialism and Death to America!” His Twitter bio read: “communist in tallahassee organizing with students and workers @NewSDS.”
As of October 20, 2016, Schultz was reportedly a senior at FSU, studying sociology.

Betty Kishek has expressed support for terrorists, promoted hatred of Israel and pushed the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement as a for at FSU. On June 8, 2013, Kishek tweeted: “Facebook and Yahood [Jews]- the cause of all the worlds problems.”
As of February 5, 2018, Kishek’s LinkedIn said she was a law student at the University of Florida (UF) Fredric G. Levin College of Law, slated to graduate in 2018.

| Bianca Balazhi spread hatred of Israel as a steering committee member with Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) at FSU in 2017.
On June 8, 2016, Balazhi tweeted a photo of Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and United States Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton with the caption: “When you're about to commit a mass genocide together.” Balazhi is majoring in “Creative Writing” at FSU, and is slated to graduate with a B.A. in April 2020.

| Brian Slingerland was an event organizer and a steering committee member with Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) at FSU. He has also promoted the Boycott, Divestment, Sanction (BDS) movement and demonized Israel on social media.

Aaron Ellis demonized Israel as the 2016 co-president of Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) at FSU. He was also an organizer with FSU SJP since 2014. Ellis is the son of the anti-Israel liberation theologian , who has compared Israel to Nazi Germany. As of January 28, 2018, Ellis’s LinkedIn page listed him as a Theatre Studies Ph.D. student at FSU, slated to complete in 2019.

| William Ortiz has demonized Israel and defended terrorists as a 2016-2017 board member of Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) at FSU.
On March 31, 2017, Ortiz gave an interview with fellow FSU SJP board members on the "411 Teen" talk radio at WFSU. The interview demonized Zionism [00:24:08] as an “exclucivist” ideology and Israel [00:25:06] as guilty of war crimes, apartheid and genocide — and called [00:41:37] for BDS. As of January 28, 2017, Ortiz listed on Facebook that he was slated to graduate from FSU in 2019, with a degree in International Affairs, History and Middle-Eastern studies.

| Nada Zaitoon demonized Israel and defended [00:05:40] hate speech as an activist [00:25:27] with Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) at FSU from 2016-2017.
Zaitoon retweeted a February 15, 2018 tweet that said: “May God bless your hands #Ahed!” along with an illustration of Ahed Tamimi slapping an Israeli soldier. As of March 22, 2018, Zaitoon’s Facebook listed her as an Anthropology student at FSU.

Nader Kasem spread incitement to violence as an activist with Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) at FSU in 2014. On November 14, 2014, Kasem appeared in an FSU SJP photo holding up a sign that read: “‘Hands off Al-Aqsa’ Israel, stop terrorising holy sites.”
As of March 15, 2018, Kasem’s LinkedIn said he graduated from FSU in 2014, with a “Bachelors of Science (B.S.), Marketing.”

Regina Joseph has spread incitement, expressed support for terrorists and celebrated the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP). Joseph was an affiliate of Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) at FSU from 2012-2017 and is an active supporter of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.
Her Linkedin also said that she was a third year student at FSU in 2016, “working on a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Sociology.”

FSU SJP Activity
Incitement to Terror
On October 27, 2015, FSU SJP shared to Facebook a “PALESTINIAN YOUTH INTERNATIONAL CALL TO SUPPORT THE INTIFADA.”
The declaration called for an “international mobilization” of Palestinian youth in exile and their allies to “support the resistance,” and glorified the Knife Intifada terrorists as “heroic.”
October 2015 saw an upsurge in violence across Israel incited by Palestinian political and religious leaders. The wave of stabbings — known as the “Knife Intifada” — saw young Palestinians throughout the country stabbing and attempting to stab Israeli civilians.
The attacks were sparked and fueled by Palestinian leaders propagating the libel that Israel intended to desecrate the Al Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem.
Defending the Knife Intifada
FSU SJP posted multiple times in support of violence that took place during the Knife Intifada that took place from October 2015 until mid-2016.
On October 5, 2015, FSU SJP shared an article to Facebook claiming a “Palestinian teen” was “executed” as a “death-chanting” mob rejoiced. The teen was Fadi Aloon.
Fadi Aloon was shot by Israeli security forces after he stabbed a 15-year-old Israeli boy. Several hours before the attack, Aloon posted “Either martyrdom or victory” on his Facebook page.
On November 5, 2015, FSU SJP posted to Facebook: “October. Was. Scary. For. Palestinians. How are things looking for November? How about 2016? ... Something's gotta give!! #BDS.”
On November 7, 2015, FSU SJP shared a photo to Facebook of Dania Irsheid after she was shot, commenting: “Lost for words…”
Dania Irsheid was shot by an Israeli police officer after she attempted to stab him.
On November 24, 2015, FSU SJP shared a video misrepresenting terrorists Hadeel and Nurhan Awad, as having been “executed” by Israel. The video was titled “execution of civilians - what Israeli settlers do best.”|
Hadeel Awad and her cousin Nurhan Awad were shot after they stabbed two people — including a 70-year-old Palestinian resident of Bethlehem — near Jerusalem’s Mahane Yehuda market. Hadeel was shot by police as she was slashing at other Israeli civilians with scissors.
On that same day, FSU SJP shared an article from anti-Israel Mondoweiss site misrepresenting terrorist Ashraqat Taha Qatanani as having been run over and then shot dead by an Israeli because he “believed she intended to carry out a stabbing attack.”
Ashraqat Taha Qatanani was run over and shot during her attempt to stab an Israeli woman.
According to the Donia Al-Watan Palestinian newspaper, Qatanani instructed her father the night before her action “to donate her organs, and not to bargain over her body.” The newspaper also stated that Qatanani died as “a Martyr as she wished.”
On November 26, 2015, FSU SJP posted to Facebook: “Brutal military occupation uses violence to quell peaceful resistance. And we wonder why resitance [sic] turns to armed struggle? To knives?"
On April 25, 2016, FSU SJP shared to Facebook a post defending Dima Al-Wawi, adding “Her face says it all.”
On April 24, 2016, FSU SJP shared to Facebook a post in defence of Al-Wawi, presenting her arrest as “discrimination against Palestinians.”
On April 13, 2016, FSU SJP defended Al-Wawi on Facebook, claiming: “This is how the Israeli government and illegal settler forces demonize Palestinians and their children.”
12-year-old Al-Wawi was imprisoned for attempting to stab a security guard at the Israeli community Karmei Tzur. Al-Wawi later claimed that she intended to kill the security guard and hoped she would be killed in the process. “I was dreaming that I was going to be martyred,” she said.
On February 15, 2016, FSU SJP posted to Facebook a video of Yasmeen Rashad al Zaro after she was shot, adding: “Who's the terrorist now?”
Jasmine Rashad al-Zaru [Yasmeen Rashad al Zaro] attempted to stab an Israeli Border Policeman before she was shot.
Honoring PFLP Terrorists
On April 13, 2017, FSU SJP posted to Facebook several photos of convicted terrorist Rasmea Odeh after a court ordered her deportation from the United States. FSU SJP referred to Odeh as a “Palestinian freedom fighter” and added the hashtag #HonorRasmea.
On February 13, 2015, FSU SJP hosted an event honoring Odeh. In the event description, FSU SJP called Odeh “the Rosa Parks of the liberation of Palestine.”
Odeh was a key military operative with the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP). In 1969, she masterminded a PFLP supermarket bombing that killed two college students. She also attempted to bomb the British consulate in Jerusalem. Odeh later moved to the United States but was deported to Jordan in 2017 for immigration fraud.
On December 12, 2015, FSU SJP commemorated the founding of the PFLP, tweeting: “PFLP marks 48th establishment anniversary in Gaza.”
On December 13, 2015, FSU SJP shared to Facebook an article reporting the PFLP’s celebration in Gaza. the article added that during the festivities, the PFLP “re-asserted its commitment to the new Palestinian Intifada.”
On March 9, 2017, FSU SJP posted a photo of Leila Khaled to Facebook in honor of International Women’s Day.
Khaled was a leading member of the PFLP and participated in the hijacking of TWA Flight 840 in 1969 and El Al Flight 219 in 1970.
In a 2014 interview, Khaled opined that the Palestinian second intifada failed because it was not violent enough.
