Manal Assi

Manal Assi signed an anti-Israel letter during Israel’s war against Hamas terrorists. Israel launched the war after the October 7, 2023, terror attacks.

The May 8, 2024 letter Manal Assi signed accused Israel of “genocide” in its war against Hamas and showed support for the pro-terror campus encampments. It also endorsed elements of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.

Manal Assi also signed a January 24, 2024, letter by American healthcare professionals accusing Israel of "genocide in Gaza."

As of July 2025, Manal Assi was listed as a child and adult psychiatrist at Ann Arbor Center for the Family, as well as an adjunct faculty member of the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Michigan (U-M Ann Arbor).

As of the same date, Manal Assi's LinkedIn profile said she graduated with a bachelor of science in biology from the American University of Beirut, Lebanon, in 1991 and with a doctor of medicine from the American University of Beirut, Lebanon, in 1995.
